Had good wings here and steak tips. My husband had their seasonal pumpkin tap beer. Went here on a Saturday night. Pretty busy but got seated in a timely manner. Service good as well.

Wife and I had to drop off our son back at school after the Thanksgiving weekend. He ran to class and we popped into the Sitting Duck Tavern for lunch before our 4 hour drive home. Wow what a surprise. This place is a little gem of a spot. The staff were pleasant, the place was clean, the food was outstanding. I had a Cadillac burger and fries, the wife had a "Birdcage" chicken sandwich and side salad and we shared an order of duck wings. The food was fresh and flavorful, really great portions, and the whole bill was $50 bucks.

Really nice little spot. We cant wait for the next over night stay so we can check out the bar. Place looks like a nice night spot for cocktails.

Second time here. Worth the wait and money. Great quality food and drinks. Staff is always super attentive and awesome. Came here with the group of four at busy dinner time. Waited about 30 minutes for our table. Drinks were out then 10 minutes of serving. Food advice about 10 minutes later. Fresh ingredients. Fresh quality and so delicious!!
You didn't get to try any of the Octoberfest menu items because we had our mindset already. Plan to come back before it's over

Best hamburger I've ever had. Got the Cadillac burger. Perfection. Yukon gold potatoes are scrumptious. I've also gotten their chicken sandwich the birdcage. That's also delicious. Honestly this is my favorite restaurant in the area. Service is also excellent.

Had a nice meal. Group of 7 and everything came out fast. Appetizers are amazing and definitely try the shrimp one. Entrees are a good portion and salads are not saturated with dressing. Would definitely go back and recommend to others!

I was working with a client and we were super hungry, we needed a quick bite, so we decided to try Sitting Duck as it was very convenient to the Trumbull Merrit Parkway exit. We ordered a Turkey Burger and Salad. Both were spectacularl, so tasty and great portions. The turkey burger was juicy, and had that sweet and salty perfect taste. (Craving one right now as I write this). I asked for sweet potato fries instead of normal ones and they were crunchy and delicious. The salad was excellent as well, perfect for those watching out for gluten free. Highly recommend this place. Also, the place had ample seating and you can definitely watch games there as the bar is right in the middle. Cool place! Will be back soon.

Stopped in for lunch and so glad we did. The French onion soup was really good and didn't taste salty. Huge salads and burgers big enough to split. You must try The absolutely best Bang Bang Shrimp ever!!

I live down the road and finally decided to check out Sitting Duck. Wow, this place seriously blew my expectations out of the water. They serve basic American food (burgers, pasta, etc.), but it was delicious! I ordered a pasta dish, and my partner ordered the steak tips.The service here is also extremely quick. Seriously, we were in and out of here in less than 45 minutes. There is usually a long wait on the weekends, but this restaurant is worth the trip!

I do have to say that the parking lot is tiny and really packed, it was difficult to find parking. The restaurant is also on the smaller side. We were seated next to a crowded bar with a bunch of rowdy patrons, but that's no fault of the restaurant and is to be expected of a pub.

I will definitely be back!

Had the bang bang shrimp, truffle fries, and goat cheese/walnuts salad. All delicious. Large portions. Nice dark wood ambiance. Bar set up in the center of the tavern. Clean bathroom. Lovely place. Will definitely bring back some friends and family. Must try. Silverman’s farms is 8-minute drive away which is actually what brought me to this neck of the woods for apple cider donuts. Heading to Trumbull mall now which is a 9-minute walk but a 2-minute drive away. Make a day of it. Enjoy.

Emma was our waitress and she was quite attentive. The food was amazing! Perfect atmosphere with outdoor seating! Will definitely return!

100% one of the best restaurants in Trumbull. The appetizers were awesome and the drinks were on point. Recommend to anyone in the area.

Service was amazing and fast. Food was simple yet elevated for American fare. Potatoes were oddly room temperature.

Food and service was great! Had the beef tip dinner and a small Ceaser salad. Highly recommend.

We found this place randomly on a long road trip and we're pleasantly surprised. A large menu, bit everything we ordered was excellent. My Thai salad had an in-house dressing that was excellent - but if you go that way, consider asking for medium or light on the dressing, as it was a bit overwhelming. Robust kids menu as well.

Great experience, will return next time we're over that way.

A great place for lunch (also dinner). The atmosphere is great and the food is good. Staff is helpful and the drinks are great. It's a great addition to Trumbull.

Great drinks and food! Place has a huge bar that takes up a good part of the restaurant. Also an outdoor area with lots of seating. Lots of large TV's to watch the games

Great atmosphere and love the entree I ordered! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. For those with pets, they have an outdoor area that is dog friendly. Excellent cocktail and beer menu make it be sitting duck a hidden gem.

Nice atmosphere, good food and good service. It's near SHU where my daughter attends. We took her to Sitting Duck for a birthday lunch .

Stopped in after a day of college tours with my twin daughters and my wife. Hostess greeted us warmly and sat us immediately.... Good thing, we were all hungry. Waitress was friendly and brought us menus and water quickly. We ordered and when the food came out we were all extremely pleased with our meals. The burgers were cooked to perfection and were excellent. Sweet potato fries were crisp and hot. Outstanding experience and priced right.
