The mussel appetizer was probably the best mussels I've ever had. No grit, succulent and perfectly cooked.

Other restaurants locally can't compare...

Oh and the cocktails were fantastic. The chili Manhattan was the perfect way to pep our appetite.

Lucia Ristorante is hands down the best Italian restaurant I’ve eaten at. All of the wait staff makes you feel special and taken care of. My favorite is Elena, a native Italian and impeccable waitress. Her beautiful ora makes you love Lucia even more! I’m having my rehearsal dinner here, and cannot wait for my friends and family to experience Lucia Ristorante. We celebrated our son's 30th birthday tonight. Everything was superb! The special appetizer "eggroll pastrami" in honor of St. Patrick was delicious! The mustard stepped it up a few notches. The pistachio tartufo was awesome! Bathroom area needs better lighting...I almost walked into the wrong one.

We drive 25 minutes to get to Lucia. Great menu in a nice atmosphere. The staff is always professional and courteous. The deserts are made in house by the owner each week. Outside summer patio great for family gatherings.

We were in New Milford yesterday for an event and decided to drive around a bit on our way home to explore (super cute town) and found LUCIA. They were completely booked for the evening, but Sophia who greeted us said “let’s take a walk outside” and she offered to set up two stools at the service bar counter so we could enjoy dinner! So sweet. Leticia took care of us, was personable, and mindful of my allergies. I loved the veal saltimboca and my partner enjoyed the chicken parmigiana. Refined classic. If not for the fact that we had to zoom back to Manhattan to return our rental car, we would’ve stayed in lingered to try dessert (and perhaps also enjoy an adult beverage). We will definitely return if we are in the area again.

Came here for drinks once. The bartender was great and friendly. Ate dinner last week and the food was delicious. My server was very attentive and knowledgeable. I will definitely be dining here again. FYI it's not cheap.

We cannot sing enough praise for Lucia—and neither can any friend or family member we have brought with us! My husband and I enjoy dining at Lucia as much as the wallets allow. We have brought family from as near as New Fairfield & Danbury — and as far as England & Europe! We just love it here! The owners, the Chef and staff are tops!!! Tonight we experienced a newer member of their staff, Raj. He was amazing, and Stacy is always a delight. The bar was busy but their amazing bartender didn’t skip a beat with our drinks and requests. She was brilliant. Salads, appetizers and mains were perfection. We ordered off the main menu as well as from the specials. We had another great night tonight! Thanks to all!

I booked this restaurant for my boyfriends 64th birthday. It was our first time. The service was exceptional. The atmosphere gorgeous. The food was amazing and beautiful. The pistachio cake was the best cake i have ever had. I would say this is the best restaurant in litchfield county. I cant believe ive lived in new preston for 6 years and i just discovered this hidden gem. If you like fancy food, you will love it like my boyfriend who had a salad with calamari and shrimp and scungilli and pasta. If you like simpler food like i do the poutine was yummy, the caesar salad was great and the chicken parm was the best i have ever had. I highly recommend you try this restaurant. The meal was worth every penny and we will definitely go again. Its a place you can wear jeans and you feel like you are at someones home enjoying amazing italian food. Lastly the host and the waiters were the best i have ever had better than any five star restaurant so please give this gem a try you won’t regret it.

A warm, inviting Italian restuarant with a menu that does not disappoint! A surprisingly large menu that is well thought out with each dish being complex and carefully crafted. From the appetizers to the desserts (be sure to try the authentic Lemonchello!) everything is wonderfully prepared and presented by a friendly staff that cares.

It's on the smaller, more intimate side and can be slightly noisy with the hardwood and ornate ceiling, but if you need more quiet to propose to your fiancee then ask for the table overlooking the street upstairs.

At first glance it may seem a bit pricey but for the quality of the food and the experience I think it's more than worth it. If you love Italian food you'll love Lucia.

We cannot say enough good things about Lucia—and neither can our wedding guests! Over the course of our year-long engagement, my husband and I came to Lucia several times, the first of which is when we fell in love with their food (and staff!) and decided to have them cater our wedding. We also held our rehearsal dinner there the night before, so what does that tell you? We just love them! Chef Tony is a delight, as is his wonderful wife, Renee, who bakes delectable cakes. Stacy and the whole staff are rock stars. Whether you’re looking to cater an event or just enjoy a meal, you’re in excellent hands at Lucia!

Dropped in for a bite to eat after a movie on Bank Street and discover a wonderful place for Italian cuisine. My elderly father and I were treated very well by Raj our waiter. He genuinely cared about fine service and had memorized the entire extensive menu which he took the time and explained to us while we dined on their outdoor patio.. Cant thank him enough... Great place.. great time!

We got engaged here 7 years ago. Just went back to celebrate 🥂 . We loved our dinners and appetizers , also great wine and atmosphere. The price was affordable and the wait staff went above and beyond.

Highly recommend having dinner here! The food is incredibly delicious. Everything we had was spot on!! The flavors were perfect, the pasta melted in your mouth, and the drinks were fun! If you’re looking for authentic, hearty, and great service- this is your place! Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Look forward to going back!

A local favorite. Never a disappointing meal. Most recently was there to celebrate a girlfriend's birthday. Our food, service and overall experience will become a forever memory. Lucia is on my repeat list and I use any excuse to dine at Lucia! Lol

Since moving to New Milford in February, we've really enjoyed Lucia. We've dined outside under the awning several times and have ordered takeout quite a bit. We've never been disappointed in our meals, drinks or the service. The staff is very attentive and friendly. I fondly recall our first time there when we had the Arugula pizza with prosciutto and wine at a table for two out front. It offered a special place for us to watch the sunset over the mountain. I'm also very fond of the small plate of olives and bread that they offer at the table. Highly recommend Lucia!

Excellent Italian Restaurant!
My wife and I went here for a office Christmas party and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised how good the food was. Everyone at the table seemed to enjoy what they ordered.
We will be returning!

My husband and I hosted our Company's Christmas party at Lucia and I cant tell you how perfect everything was. I worked with Edras the Manager from the get-go and he not only helped craft the perfect menu for our needs (we had a large party with specific food preferences), but he communicated fabulously at all stages. Edras also personally worked our party to make sure everything went off without a hitch. The food was amazing, service spot-on, and all our guests had a great time. I cant say enough about the experience as a whole and we will definitely host another party here without a doubt. Call and ask for Edras and it will be a perfect night guaranteed!
