They have made some adjustments/improvements since opening. The egg sandwich could use more egg. But the Greek Salad is delicious and reasonably priced, and the ingredients are good quality. The cheeseburger is also a solid choice.

Great experience at this wonderful location. Professional and mature workers especially Ben Douglas, whom served me at the time. Definitely recommend if ur staying at the gorgeous beach across the road. The BLT Sandwich exceeded my expectations. Inside the restaurant there is an excellent atmosphere that starts my day with a upbeat vibe.

We are so thrilled that Elvira Mae's has opened! The new owners, Hal and Betsy (who could not be nicer) have done a wonderful job with the decor and food. It's such a great place to grab a coffee, ice cream, breakfast or sandwich. We went for lunch. I had the chicken, avocado, BLT and my friend had the chicken pesto sandwich both were delicious. So happy to have this gem back open down by Compo!

The owners have done a wonderful job in renovating this community asset. They have put a lot of their money and effort in doing so. They are slowly becoming part of the Compo Beach fabric. In doing so they are adapting and listening in order to get it better and better each week. Nothing is perfect at the start but let’s give them a chance! Their Chicken Caesar Salad is exceptional and their green iced-tea is the choice of my wife. Thank you Hal and Betsy for your commitment to our community.

My wife and I are so happy that Elvira Mae has reopened. What an asset to Compo Beach. I met the owners yesterday, Hal & Betsy, after many satisfied visits during the summer. They could not have been nicer and eager to meet the needs of the community. The chai tea is my go-to drink. We plan on supporting this wonderful establishment throughout the year.

The pizza has a honey crust- mmm. The fried dough when they have it is great. Big fan of the truffle fries and of course the lobster roll. My personal favorite? The blu burger.
