The Newington branch is staffed with friendly, helpful folks who can help you and send you on your way in no time! The bank itself has much better terms than you'll find at the bigger regional/national bank chains.

Great place to do your banking. More personal than the larger banks. You are not just a faceless number to them and they will try very hard to help you. The staff is awesome. They did all they could to assist me and give me personal attention. Very grateful for this credit union and it's staff.

West Hartford is an amazing Branch. During the Corona virus PANDEMIC the staff came outside to help customers with all kinds of questions and banking needs. Their caring customer skills patience kindness blew me away.

What I liked at the time I went to American Eagle was how fast I got to the teller!! Not a long wait in line but that could be because no one was there at the time! Quick access is great with professional people who know there job!! Thanks

Always a good experience. The new East Hartford location is impressive. Nice that most branches have the free change machines for members.

Banked with AE FCU for years. Banks in general kinda suck but this is the best I've found. A credit union is the way to go if you wanna tell BOA and JP Morgan where to stick it.
They are pretty accommodating. Course i never needed a loan or anything like that.
Another person said their ATM card didn't work abroad. I traveled abroad and had no such issue. CC companies monitor you accounts and will cancel cards if they see a lot of weird activity. I warned them before I traveled, and had no problem.

The minimum balance is 5 dollars in savings. No more no less. Which is nice for the average person living paycheck to paycheck. Plus I get 4 free ATM transactions a month which is pretty sweet since when traveling I can't find a AE branch.

I love this C.U. !! The people there act like they WANT to see us. It's different than my experience at other Banks & Credit Unions. If you want to see my $$, it's nice to want to SEE me.
