Rebel Dog Coffee Co. & Tavern PLAINVILLE

This was our first time here. The waitress was super friendly and knowledgeable. The food was delicious. I ordered off of the seasonal menu. I ordered strawberry pierogis for the table and a chicken apple sandwich with chips. My friends ordered eggs Benedict. I ordered the ginger bread coffee. I unfortunately do not recall what my friend had ordered her coffee is the woman with the decorative design.. my other friend ordered the Peru, which was pretty good. I love the atmosphere, and the music was fantastic. A great rotation of music. I’m a sucker for good food and good music at the same time. We got seats within five minutes of being there. I definitely recommend it.

I have tried all of the Rebel Dog Coffee shops around CT. I was so excited when I stumbled across this one with a Tavern! The first time I stopped by, I went into the coffee shop section and just ordered my regular bacon egg and cheese on a plain bagel with hot sauce. The second time, I went on a Sunday for Brunch. Showed up a little late and realized I was missing all the action. They had a Trivia game going on inside the tavern. I ended up sitting outside on the patio and was completely isolated because I did not hear any of the commotion from the inside. The food was DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!! The service was smooth and quick. Very impressed. Extremely content with the whole experience.

Staff was very attentive. Lots of options for vegan folks. I got a falafel wrap with vegan tahini, delicious.

Coffee selection was much larger than expected. I stuck with a classic cold brew which was very tasty.

Would definitely come back.

Came back for brunch. Not much for the vegan diet but everyone else in my groups was very happy.

Love the new chai recipe, and the Huevos Rancheros and Falafel sandwiches are my go-to's!

Highly recommend for catering. We hosted a brunch bridal shower outdoors and Rebel Dog was a huge success. Ordered breakfast sandwiches, homemade pastry, yogurt parfaits, potato pancakes with a ice coffee latte station. Food was on point as always but we were blown away with the service. The guys who brought the food helped us set up everything. They lit Sternos, unpacked and even helped with the set up of food from other guests. Top notch service and I would recommend them 💯 for any catering needs.

First time trying to this place since we are new to Plainville area. Nice place and atmosphere! Loved my coffee and breakfast sandwich. Great customer service! Our waitress had two other large parties sit right around the same time as us and being super considerate asked if we were ready before the big parties so the two of us didn't get stuck ordering behind them and waiting longer for food.

All the baristas are so friendly and make delicious drinks. Favorite coffee spot. They play great music - great spot to go and do work!

I always love visiting when I'm in town. Grabbed a quinoa bowl to go and it was full of flavor!

I adore this place.
The staff did an amazing job at making me feel welcome, even though it was my first time here. The food and drinks were phenomenal. I had a scone and chai tea latte (pictured) and I spent some time here, so earlier I had a bacon and cheese sandwich on an everything bagel and a cappuccino. Everything was so delicious.

The coffee is to the left when you walk in and there is plenty of outdoor seating right outside. I spent some time working on my computer and enjoying the beautiful weather and atmosphere they have created.

My friend an I have carved out time for a monthly Brunch Date @ Rebel Dog just minutes from each of our homes.

As busy, full-time working moms, we love the Plainville convenient location, and we KNOW we will always have delicious food, decadent beverages, and a warm, friendly atmosphere.

Food service everything was great. A bit pricey but what isn't today. Had the steak and eggs. The steak was cooked perfect. The French onion soup was delicious as well.

Whether it's iced coffee to go, lunch for takeout at the Farmington location, breakfast on the deck in Plainville, or BOGO dinner specials to go - I'm never disappointed. I absolutely love this place. Food, drinks, and people all amazing.

Consistent food, friendly service, rotating coffee flights and specials. The birria breakfast burrito is my go to along with the rotating latte flavors.

Best place to grab some fresh roasted coffee and some fantastic bar food or breakfast food. The coffee is well balanced. The beer selection is small yet diverse for its stature. The staff are polite. Try the Cauliflower on the happy hour menu it is fantastic. Nice place to meet up with friends or relax. Crowd is friendly. Ambiance is good.

Great selection of food and drinks! Love the ambience. Outdoor and indoor seating with screens running soccer games. Friendly wait staff. It's become our Saturday post-soccer ritual.

Had the French onion soup, which was spectacular, and some "garlic bread" that was more of a Flatbread and I was surprised by a bit of feta or goat cheese, also very delicious.

I came because of the reviews...I wouldn't have stopped because the outside is just OK. Inside, wow! Clean, comfortable, and various options including outside covered deck with fans. We had breakfast and it was not only tasty, it looked great. Matt was our waiter and truly wonderful. Everyone there was so friendly and helpful. My friend needed a special diet off the menu, no problem. My coffee was decadent... my meal was one if the best corned beef hash ever. I will be back with grandkids. My grandson can eat lunch, while I eat breakfast.

It’s a little hard to find. It’s attached to another restaurant and the other sign stands out more than its own. I drove by twice and didn’t see it. BUT...once you find it, it’s awesome! Great spot for a coffee or espresso drink and a pastry. Nice seating area inside. Came at 7:30 on a Thursday. Wasn’t too crowded. Service was quick! I’ll be back!

First time here, as I have to wait for my dog to be done her spa appt, I considered Starbucks...BUT so glad I chose here!
Great menu items, refreshing ice tea, cool atmosphere. Got the Cobb salad—😋
