if you love karaoke this is the place to be, but some times theres an annoying guy (usually drunk) who claps as loud as he possibly can and will even slam on the table while people are singing or try to wedge himself into your table/space/conversation, but if you wave him off he'll usually leave you be after that.

Awesome company, decent pool tables, and AMAZING wings! Do you like spice? Try their Madness wings, but may I suggest trying maybe 1 wing at a time, because they are hot! Around 6 million scoville!

Zen Bar is the best! I live in Plainville, and have been here a bunch of times. The owner Giancarlo is a great guy, Ive known him a long time. Always tries to make customers happy. Love the karaoke when they have it, pool table, and good drinks. Def a good spot to visit

Zen Bar attracts a crowd (not too large) during the week and a decent weekend crowd. The owner is extremely personable and attentive. Good beer selection. I haven't tried their food but several patrons were eating and enjoying their appetizers. Karaoke just about everyday if that's your thing. If you're in the Plainville, CT area and are looking for a place to throw a few back, Zen Bar is a great place to go.

I went there on a Friday night (9:00pm to 1:30 am for karaoke. I was very happy with the service I received. I ordered mozzarella sticks as a appetizer and a soda. The appetizer came out quickly and hit the spot. I had planned on ordering more food for the night but the appetizer was filling, I had another soda and was all set for the evening. It's nice to have karaoke back again after a long year of the pandemic. I plan on attending karaoke weekly on Friday evening as it was a good crowd that sang overall.

Love it! Went sunday but everyday is Karaoke at Zen. The staff are on top of things, the atmosphere is supreme, and no matter the deejay they always have your favourite song to play!

A bar you can feel at home at. Staff will make sure your well attended to and listen carefully to exactly what you want. Always had a good time. Karaoke night !

The Cheers of Plainville, a great rotating tap with both classic bar standbys and fresh craft beers. John the owner and primary bartender makes it his mission to make sure you feel welcome. Definitely get the bacon cheeseburger with fries and the latest IPA. Don't forget to order a Zen Bar shot, and stay for the kareoke.

Don't let the outside fool you. This Bar is a gem. Great people working there and the beer selection is unlike any bar i have visited. If you like options for drinks this is the place to go. Food is pretty good

Great place and staff. They have karaoke on weekends and I think on some weekdays. If your getting a drink ask for the "red-rum". Thank me later.
