The Laundry Room on the Ave

Be warned, laundromat customers use the folding tables to eat food leaving a mess such as ketchup drops, etc...

In all fairness, this laundromat probably deserves an overall rating of 4.7
This is mainly due to that out of a total of 3 folding tables, only one and sometimes two folding tables are available for customer usage, folding tables are used by personnel to fold customer clothes.

Today April 18th at about 9:30am I asked the attendant at the laundromat if scent free detergent is available for sale to which she responded in a very surly way ALL...ALL..

the word All means everything.

how can all detergents be scent free?

could her Initial response have been more than just "ALL"
repeating ALL a few times in a very impatient and rude way does not help....

Only when I looked at the detergent, I noticed the name "ALL" and that it is scent free.

she told me I told you so, bear in mind she told me in a very rude way, ALL...ALL...

The washers and dryers kept clean and in good condition

I am visiting this laundromat on a Monday afternoon around 11am. There is a working ATM here. There are 11 washing machines and 12 dryers. Nice resting area is available. This business is clean, a multilingual attendant is here, and she has advised each customer when their washer or dryer is done. She keeps the customer traffic moving to a nice pace. She is very helpful and very concerned about the cleanliness of the laundromat. Good parking and parking lot is very clean. There are businesses across the street to eat lunch or get a coffee. The customers visiting here are of every shape, size, age, color, and culture. Everyone doing laundry here is friendly and polite. I will visit again and update my review at that time.

I was in town for 2 months & I dropped off about 2 loads of laundry for their wash dry & fold service. It was less than $15, and the woman at the desk even allowed me to have two items left out of the dryer no issue. The second time I came was a Sunday morning to do it myself and to my surprise it’s free dry before 11am on Sunday's 🤗 they have coffee & magazines available while you wait, very clean store and helpful staff

I've posted this on Yelp, but I feel strongly that this place deserves recognition. The owners are lovely people, the service is top notch, and the price is very reasonable. Everything looks very new and up to date. Our clothes are cleaner than our apartment complex machines get them, and the convenience of dropping it off is worth the little extra money we spend. We wouldn't go anywhere else. Love that we can drop off laundry in the morning and it's washed/folded by 5pm. So happy we found such a place and so conveniently located in West Hartford. I can't speak highly enough of this place.

Used The Laundry Room on the Ave and I was so wonderfully pleased with the entire experience from start to finish! Def worth a try! I am going to be using the wash and fold next; you can tell they really care for you and your belongings. Everything was handled so professionally and delicately. I actually can’t wait to go back because it was a nice experience.

This laundromat is in a very convenient location, it’s easy to park here and the prices are fair. $3 for a small wash, $4 for medium, and $5 for large. They offer free dry 7-11 am every day, as well as 4-9 pm on Sunday which is wonderful! The woman working was very kind and helpful. There is a quarter machine in the back and a coffee machine in the front with chairs for waiting.

A diamond in the rough! This laundromat is hands down the best one I have ever been too.
It is spotless and the machines are fabulous! They have a flat screen television, with the latest issues of a variety of popular magazines to peruse while you enjoy fresh brewed coffee and baked goods that are put out by the very friendly and accommodating staff. Love the Laundry Room on the Ave, makes doing my laundry more of a treat than a dreaded chore.
Kudos to the owners for caring about us folks that are regulated to finding decent public laundry facilities!!!

Very new, large and fast washers and dryers. Always clean. Comfortable seating, complimentary coffee and free wifi. The best laundromat in West Hartford. Convenient wash and fold service, much less costly than nearby laundromats.

I use the laundry drop off service. It is so easy, they will even pick it up and drop it off for you, for no extra cost. The staff is friendly and fast. It's especially nice during these times, to have the option to stay home.

The Owner is an awesome person. He is helpful and considerate. Great washers and dryers. I always support businesses that have morals/values and this is the best one to go to.

I just moved here from Boston a few months back and have been using these guys for all my needs since living in CT. Very cost effective vs my coin op machines in the basement and the work they do is always timely and on point. I live right up the block from them so it’s a no brainer.

I had a wonderful experience with the owner Sean. I called him to see if he wouldn't mind waiting a bit later for me to bring in my clothing to be washed and dry cleaned. He said that is not a problem, and he would take care of it.
