Rasham Marketplace

We went to try this place for the food that they serve and to our surprise the variety and selection there. The food was fresh and was really tasty.
They even serve food like chat and all on request.

The shop was stocked well with Indian grocery and even has meat available in the store.

The sweet variety is also really good. Its similar to sweet shops .

Always clean. The staff is always helpful and polite. They will help you find what you need and explain any of the goodies to you. I love to stop in for some hot food and I always grab some pantry staples that are a great price.

This newly renovated grocery/kitchen/ meat shop is AMAZING! Come get fresh food, spices, sweets, meats, and grocery. The family is so lovely to deal with. They just opened and the space is so beautiful and clean. They also have an amazing selection of teas, rice, and sweets. Try their samosas and kababs!

Hidden gem here in Hartford. I love the authenticity of the food. Fabulous selection of groceries as well. Grateful to have them in the community.

They have good customer service. I appreciate this greatly. This used to be Cosmos on Farmington Ave near Whiting Lane. This market is cleaner with a good butcher and fresh meat. They also have a nice fragrance selection, if you're looking for the #arabianoils that are going viral all over social media, they carry them! I have two and they smell divine.

The best place to go for South asian grocery and delicious food. Meat and chicken are of the best quality. Over the counter freshly prepared kebab and tandoori naan are must have. Love this.

Friendly people, delicious food, and samosas made fresh to order. Highly recommend this place for takeout or groceries :)

Great store, love what they've done with the look! I wish they had a little bit better Arabic food selection. There were a couple things I was looking for that weren't there

My third time to their West Hartford Location and just as much of an awesome place as their South Windsor Restaurant, they are so kind, delicious food, very kind family! They are an extension of my family! I have been laid up for several months and now getting out again, and they are always so kind! Thank you Percha Fanily!

Everything you desire under one roof. Needed something like this in the area. Stoked to have this place open.

Family owned business. Owner takes a pride in customer service. Meat is always fresh. They also make fresh naan and kebob. Have done catering for he together and have never been disappointed. Highly recommended.

This is the finest Pakistani grocery store in the town. I'm glad to see all the food products available. Nice staff who provide quick service and help to find products. I had a good shopping experience there.

The selection is amazing. The samosas are THE best in the area (and I've eaten a lot of samosas), prepared foods, meat department, spices, teas, snacks galore! And every time I go in, they are all so friendly and helpful. It's a well kept "secret" that shouldn't be so secret since they're so great! Do yourself a favor and go!

The freshly made to order chicken shawarma on naan bread with spicy sauce is absolutely amazing 🤩

The other things I have tried like samosas and the goat biryani have all been excellent as well.

I have been visiting their South Windsor store for the past few years and I always like their meat offerings. When I got to know this new store opened nearby I went to check it out. It is located right where Cosmos International was. Needless to say I was very impressed how they renovated that space & the place was very clean, especially the butcher section. I even liked how they started packaging the meat. There's a kitchen section too that'll be operational soon. Pretty sure this store will get busier like the other one in no time.
P.S: The family that runs the business is very warm and welcoming!

First visit to Rasham tonight- very nice shop! Friendly, clean, organized, and the prepared food is delicious. Per the other reviewer, yes some of the prices are high but it's in West Hartford so...what do you expect?? They have to pay for that location, I doubt the rent is cheap.

I probably won't buy certain things that I can get a lot cheaper elsewhere (that's what aldi is for y'all), but they do have a nice selection of specialty items, and the location is super convenient. And did I say the prepared food is good? I mean REALLY good. I took home a daal and on the owner's recommendation a goat nihari (great choice Talet!). Both are delicious, and I don't say that lightly... this is legit. great. food.

Prepared food is coming from their other location for now, but their kitchen will be opening soon! Yay!!! 😄 Definitely go check them out! I'll be back for sure.

This place is so great. They have a lot of foods you won't find anywhere else locally. The guys working there are always helpful, and I have discovered many awesome new foods.

The absolute BEST international marketplace located in West Hartford! Family owned and operated by some of the most humble and inspiring people. They are always in stock with a diverse selection of grocery items and fresh meats available, shopping here is a no brainer!
