Big Y World Class Market

One stop location for everything you need. Not really a frequenter but every time we visit the store, we think we should visit more often. Staffs are friendly! Super clean! Great Deli collection! Be sure to find something you’d like. Their daily specials are too good! Sushis are $6 on Wednesdays. Not terrific but good. Got to know about their Fish and Chips from a local FB group, and NEVER disappoints! Tastes like a good seaside restaurant. And the seafood section’s staffs are extremely friendly! There is a senior staff and and African American staff - both of them are really helpful and kind. And found out from the FB group they do party size pizzas too and many people love their 40 slice pizzas! Reasonably priced!

I love this store but how come they took away all my favorite things? Like the craving fruit bars? All of them? Even the little sherbert push pops for 2.99 those are gone too ? They did away with my favorite vinegar coleslaw year ago I thought that was the beginning to the end of time..lol

My New Special Shopping experience. THEY HAVE ALL OF THE STATE OF THE ART DIGITAL SYSTEMS IN PLACE .THE STORE HAS A FLOW AS YOU STEP INTO THE STORE.CLEAN, ORGANIZED AND EXTREMELY Well managed. Every employee I encounter in different depts ASK me if I needed assistance! Even though they were busy doing some aspect of their job. The store is always well stocked.fresh fruit display and the sushi Bar is just another Fabulous feature. Hot , freshly made rotisserie chicken is my favorite and you Can't beat the price ! Overall food prices have gone up so I stick to my budget and the quality of the products is worth it. Check out is a breeze!! Saving time and money. Great job Big Y!!

It's a Big Y store. I wish they would move more of them into New York and Delaware. I don't go to this often based on the location, but I will go a little bit out of my way to stop by.

I loved this place, the meat dept looked so fresh and good looking subs and pizza. I was even able to buy some lottery tickets. My aunt loves this grocery store.

The West Hartford location is clean. Their produce and seafood are excellent. The meat section has limited variety but the quality is still good. This is not a large store, but they cover the basics and have a decent cooked food section. I use this spot when I need to pick up groceries on the way home from work.

Great selection! Clean, efficient, and lots of variety! Delicious deli and bakery products! My cashier, Joseph C. was very friendly and professional!

With the exception of the uneven floors in some parts of the store, everything else is great! I LOVE the huge selection, especially in the cheese department. It was the only store in a 30 mile radius that had ducks for sale. I will be going back for the variety of cheeses alone.

Multi faceted grocery store. All foods you need including deli meats, hot take-out and beer. :)

Customer service off the chart, and it wasn’t just one person.
From the people at the flower shop, to the pizza bar, to the check out line, they were all very nice and you can tell they enjoy working with each other there. It was a nice experience. As far as grocery store experience they get a 5/5.

Second time there but customer for life! I don't care how many Prices you can stop, chop, save-a-lot👎 Big Y is where you really shop right and get more bang for your buck👍 Quality products at an economical price. Nice clean atmosphere makes shopping pleasant. A Big Y Equal Self!!!

Love this store. The employees are very helpful, the bakery is out of this world 🌎. The choices are top notch. I also love the kosher area. Everything is setup so we'll. All the food fruits, meats, deli, is very clean. Social distancing, mask's are following the rules, everyone that shops there are very pleasant A number one. There's also and abundance of other stores in the area to shop from if need be.

Just had a wonderful experience with quality service from my cashier, Maya. She is a treasure.
Helped me unpack my cart, took special care to see that my fresh soup was secure for the ride home, packed my groceries with great care and was courteous and pleasant.

There is a great selection of vegetables and fruits, well lit displays and constant replenishing of stock all day. They have the freshest fish of any supermarket and many choices of ethnic foods, including Kosher meats. Competitive prices and always enough check out lines open.

I love Big Y they always have fresh & local produce, and other stuff!! And unlike the Stop and Shop that is a 5 minute walk from my house, the small one on Newington Road in the plaza with Crazy Crazy Bruce's liquor store and Dollar Tree they were never great but at least I could shop there and take the cons with the pro, like a block away drive but now they're worse than ever especially since cold did they never have anything in stock there they have the eye of blocked off like you're going through a freaking corn maze so I prefer to drive to the other side of West Hartford to go to Big Y where they don't run out of stuff and you can go up and down the aisles normally and cash out normally and they don't have ghetto workers there that are very rude!!

The bagels that I bought that are certified kosher was excellent wasn't dry, flavorful and the kosher meat and deli section was good and fresh. I never seen a kosher experience like this in Connecticut in a long time.
I cannot wait for my next trip. My favorite Big Y location.

I love this store the worker are friendly and helpful. And the management tenant is the best I love the work environment expressly because I am a Africa American that is Disabled and they treat me so nice .the Store in West Hartford Ct

Love shopping there. Love when they have a sale in the meat department. The porterhouse sale was fantastic. I purchased enough for my freezer.
