The Crown Market

This grocery store is a gem hidden in West Hartford! Their prepared food is overall excellent! Last time I went, I had the Crown Poke Bowl from the sushi bar and it was spectacular. Can’t wait to go back again. Recommend 100%

The absolute best! Needed sandwiches quickly due to passing of family member. Ready in less than an hour. Would recommend to all even those not Jewish like us.

This is a wonderful place for Jewish ethnic flavors and delicacies. Try their soups, bakery, and especially the deli department. Everything is of high quality. The tuna salad is a highlight. Knishes and fresh kugel pudding are available. What you could get easily in New York City is harder to find up here. This market is the exception.

An oasis of kosher goodness! I live in Brooklyn and I'm jealous of the selection. Go for the Thai noodles and Coney Island knishes.

This place is awesome! They have a massive assortment of in-house prepared foods and a very respectable bakery counter. Soooo many delicious sweet treats! It's a small grocery store as well catering mostly to people of Jewish decent,but of course, all are welcome. Their staff is very friendly and helpful, and prices are fair for what they sell. A lot of imported and specialty foods along with those yummy in-house foods made daily.

Love Crown Market. I called the day before and they had my order ready when I got to the store. It wasn't a big order either. Everyone is nice and helpful.

The best selection of kosher meats and other products. Eddy makes the best pizza and Sara is always able to help out with a smile. Nice to see Debby there now too.

I’m always impressed with Crown Market. The sandwiches are incredible, the bread is delicious, the macaroni salad is the best I’ve ever had, and I don’t bother making latkes anymore because Crown’s are sooo good.

So of course I love the crown as I am a nice Jewish boy from West Hartford, lol. Every town or city gets their own community kosher grocery store complete with glott, kosher deli, bakery etc. As someone who doesn't spend too much time in a synagogue, going to the crown for some of their famous tuna or to grab some kosher regular at the bakery, I just enjoy stopping in. Always the nicest people working there. And it is a genuine West Hartford treasure

I really appreciate the Hebrew music they play. Food is amazing!

I always run into one of my mom’s friends when I go here, and while that can be nice, it was a treat to have the Crown come to me. With a plethora of yummy hors d'oeuvres, bloody marys that I realized were gazpacho after sipping, and entrees that made my taste buds dance, my cousin’s wedding was a divine trip to Yummytown thanks to Crown catering.

I enjoy coming here. The cleanliness, brightness of store and the gigantic selection of imported and local products makes it exciting. I get some prepared foods way back from my childhood. Can't top that! Plus, their recycled shopping bags are gorgeous!!

I enjoy going to The Crown Market. The deli selection is very good. The Crown Market tuna salad is very tasty. The meat department always has a good selection of kosher poultry and beef. Recently, I tried The Crown’s vegetarian lasagna. It is magnificent! I hope they continue to make the vegetarian lasagna. Try it, you’ll love it!

Great for quick trips and kosher meat. They also have a decent gluten free section which is always helpful. The prepared foods are great when you are in a rush or if your chef is out of town. Solid

My favorite part of Crown Market is the Katz section in the freezer. I don't believe any other store has as many product options for gluten free vegan cakes and baked goods.
