This place feels like a magical hidden gem amongst the trees. Once you arrive to a dirt parking lot (you’ll pass a random house on your left) park and begin walking down the dirt trail. Take the right on the fork and walk uphill through a grassy area and past power lines. Keep going and you’ll start to hear the water. You’ll reach another open spot where it goes left up a grassy hill or right. Go right and into the woods and you’ll see the waterfall. It’s quiet and serene.

Took an unexpectedly great walk to the falls today. The area was beautiful, and the falls and surrounding gorge were just amazing. It always surprises me to find these hidden gems that you would never know were even there.

Beautiful. It's a little steep getting down to the falls but it's well worth it.

Great family friendly hike! The trails are certainly not marked, so here are some tips.
When you go through the gate from the parking lot, you will walk about 500 yards before you get to a fork - stay right. As you walk up the hill through the fields you will eventually turn back into the woods and turn right to keep going up the trail. You will get to another fork where you can keep going straight into another field opening or left up a steeper hill - go straight into the field opening if you want to go to the falls, they will be straight ahead. Enjoy!!!

I absolutely loved going here! The fall is great n the view from the top and bottom of the fall is awesome!!! The trail kinda makes u feel like ure going the wrong way because of the big green field in between the woods area but keep going stay mainly towards the right!

The hike was short, the water was cold, and the falls were beautiful! The trail map is on the back of the welcome board. We missed it and took a wrong turn, but ran into someone else who knew the way and saved the day. Nice little spot that turned out to be basically in the back yard if a guy I know, which is fun.

I had a wonderful experience here, reminded me of the PNW which I miss quite well. It was me mostly for the entire trial and I loved the tranquility and various things within the waterfall. The lighting was on point and I will always cherish this moment.

Such a lovely and breezy little “hike” to a secret feeling waterfall. I followed the guidance of those commenters below and it was so quick to find. Be careful getting down to the waterfall though, it’s very steep!

Never knew this place existed until today! Beautiful trails and fields for miles! The falls were frozen solid but they are gorgeous. Walked to the bottom to get a good shot of the frozen river. The trails are well- marked and wider than most. This is a gorgeous hidden treasure in Woodbury CT.

My girlfriend comes up here just for peace and refreshment. It's a serene area and the light leaks well in the forest. The falls are cute and not the biggest but it doesn't matter, it's just a lovely place to be

Well with little to no rain I was lucky there was just enough water falling to have made the hike worthwhile. Very tranquil. It shows another side to a cascade of water rather than a violent torrent. Judging by what I saw, it will be worth another look if and when it rains. Yes, I recommend to scope out. Round trip 1.64 miles ... on a scale of 10 the hike is a 4 and rather moderate. The last 75 feet down that's another story. Very steep black diamonds if it were a ski slope and if wet an accident waiting to happen.

This is a beautiful short hike with an incline. Different seasons bring different perks like late May ladies slippers or early July raspberries. The falls at the top are beautiful year round

Good place to hike, not really well sign, little confusing on the beginning, like somebody mentioned before I try to keep to the right side and end up finding falls no problem. I'm going to put the screenshot from maps with 📍 parking lot and falls so somebody can visualize where it is.

Lovely little falls! Nice walk not too hard or confusing due to previous reviews of staying to right and field presence.

Rough trails with accumulated tree fall provide views from the ledge of a series of falls and pools. Open fields lead to a path under the power lines with views of the Bethlehem ridge.

Excellent place to have some fun with friends and gather around a pallet fed bonfire. Wonderful views further up the trails
