Edo Ichi Sushi & Hibachi Steakhouse

Went here to celebrate a mutual friend coming to visit. This fantastic hibachi restaurant also offers a wide selection of sushi and specialty rolls.

The atmosphere was lively and energetic. The restaurant has modern and stylish decor, creating a welcoming and comfortable dining environment. The cocktails were delicious and I would definitely come back for a happy hour!

I really enjoyed the creative and flavorful sushi rolls, every bite was a delight. The skilled hibachi chef put on an entertaining show and the hibachi dishes were cooked to perfection (I had the lobster and steak combo).

Overall, this is a great place to enjoy a memorable meal with friends or family.

This is my go to restaurant for Japanese food and there are a dozen other restaurants close to my home. This one isn't. It's actually out of my way. But, they are consistently delicious with large portions for the hibachi dinner. I most recently had the filet mignon which was cooked perfectly. For the hibachi entree you get your choice of protein, fried rice, noodles, 2 shrimp, hibachi veggies and soup. All delicious. Sushi good, shumai good, staff good. All good. You have to park and enter through the back door and exit left on a one way street. Hibachi entrees, shrimp shumai, spicy shrimp rolls, seafood fried rice, chicken or beef fried rice... all my go tos and all are very good.

Went here on a whim because my fiancé has never been to a hibachi place before. I was very surprised it looked so small from the front but you park in the back and it’s still not huge but we’ll positioned. We sat at the hibachi table and the waitress was kind and attentive. The music was on and made for a fun atmosphere. We ordered our food and wowza everything was so well prepared by our hibachi master. He even had the disco balls going lol. Very talented and made some delicious food. We filled ourselves so much a nap was needed at home. I will definitely go back!

We took our daughter for her 10th Birthday tonight. The sushi was Amazing!! I highly recommend this hidden gem!! We can’t wait to go back!! Pics courtesy of my 10 year old.

I came here for happy hour on a Wednesday after work after seeing all the great reviews. It did not disappoint! When you first pull in off the main road you're actually looking at the back of the restaurant and need to drive down the hill to see the front. There's a decent-sized parking lot and you walk through their patio seating to enter the restaurant. they have a whole separate hibachi section as well as a bar and general dining. The plus side is you can get happy hour anywhere in the restaurant, not just at the bar. Beers, wines, and their cocktails were all $3.75! They didn't have any happy hour food specials but those drink special totally made up for it. We ended up getting two cocktails and shared a boat of sushi, which was clearly extremely fresh and well-made. Our server was very nice and I definitely recommend coming here.

Friday was my first time eating at Edo Ichi and hopefully not my last. Friendly staff, delicious food, sushi that looks like works of art, this place ticks all of the boxes. 5 out of 5 would highly recommend.

Staff was friendly, place was super clean, kind of weird how the entrance is but once you get in.. Its phenomenal. The hibachi chef had a great sense of humor and I highly recommend the dancing dragon roll. I also got a hibachi dinner(chicken and lobster) and wow... I will definitely be coming back.

Best hibachi we have found in central Connecticut. The staff here are always friendly and the food is always great. Parking can be a challenge and the inside looks like it is constantly under construction, but the food and staff more than make up for it. We try to make it here at least once a month.

Visited for lunch last week and had a pleasant experience. The food preparation was exquisite, all of the plates were decorated, and the sushi was fresh. Will definitely be coming back.

We went in the evening, unfortunately they closed at 930...not 10 as stated on the website. The water was rushing us a little after 830 to order and such as we waited for other half of our party. We did hibachi and our chef was awesome! It was the most fun hibachi experience I have had! The food was well presented and tasted good. Will be back!

When it comes to sushi, my daughters and I are quite particular on where we go. This has been my 5th visit (my daughters’ 2nd) and this has been the best sushi we have had yet.
If you enjoy sushi, I highly recommend coming to Edo Ichi. They have a great atmosphere, amazing quality of food and superb presentation.
I enjoy the fact that every-time I ate there, I am stunned by their craftsmanship.

If you are reading this, don’t waste anymore time trying to decide where to go, Edo Ichi is the place.
(Also, they have an extensive drink menu if that is a deciding factor for others).

Very good, food was excellent so the service, one suggestion pleases focus more into the parking lot, there were trash empty food container, doesn't look good its will reduce the value of such good restaurants. 😊

Absolutely fantastic experience. We stopped in during our trip to CT to grab dinner. Phenomenal food, Hibachi Chefs are very kind and tremendously entertaining! The young lady who served us was very sweet.... They are all hard workers putting forth some incredible service!

If we travel to this area again, we are coming back here!!!

Eco Ichi has ruined me for sushi. They set the bar so high with consistency, quality, and flavor that my old go-to sushi restaurant pales in comparison. On top of this they are also very friendly.
I would say the only downside is the wait times. Sometimes with takeout they quote you a time but it won’t be ready when you go pick it up (sometimes for quite a bit longer). But, good things come to those who wait

Great hidden gem! I stopped by later in the evening and sat at the bar and ordered a margarita along with some some sushi rolls. I was wowed at the presentation of the food in addition to its great taste. The staff were super attentive and made sure everything was correct and the atmosphere was perfect. I'll definitely be back!

It's a well hiding spot, if always driving by, and discover just today. The soup for 7$ it's worth money.. beef,chicken,shrimp and such a tasty broth. I had to finish sashimi at home, because the soup 🍲 👌

Hibachi chefs are funny and keep your attention while they are cheffin up your meal. Sushi rolls are fresh and beautifully presented. Drinks are on point. Tell em Kitty sent you and take a shot of sake for me!

Food is good presentation is beautiful, but service is mediocre at best.
