You have to eat here.. no questions asked. We stopped here on our way home after a day spent in this corner of Connecticut and we couldn’t have picked a better place. The short rib sliders on cornbread were to die for. The honey bee pizza was amazing. The wine list was top notch and the desert was delicious. We will 1000% be returning. Can’t wait actually. Clean bathroom with amazing patio and outside area. Great service. What more could you ask for?

This restaurant has become a weekend habit for us. The pizzas and salads are absolutely perfect for lunch. Great wine selection too. The staff is exceptional. Friendly and professional making you always feel so welcome and that your business matters. Love the outdoor seating. Ample parking. Just such a perfect place to spend a Saturday or Sunday afternoon.

Happened upon this place while looking at property in the area. We parked and walked the town, shopping a bit, and decided to grab a cocktail and light lunch. Great service, excellent food, tasty drinks all served with a smile! You guys have super nice staff, who clearly like their jobs! The pizza was delish, the eggplant special unique and tasty…we were very happy! Kudos all around!!!

Been coming here for 3-4 years, the pizza and wine are great and the staff are helpful and with their recommendations. The atmosphere is fantastic and it’s always a magical time.

Wow. We’ve passed this by too many times to count and regret every one. We had a superb lunch on the patio with excellent service in a lovely setting. The salad was fantastic. The pizza was delish (fresh tomato!). The asparagus dish was a 10. But the croissant bread pudding was a 20! Yum!

Nice flavor in New Preston. Comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Food was delicious. Katie was our waitress. Her warm and professional demeanor made our positive experience even better.

We had a wonderful lunch here. The employees could not have been nicer to us and to our puppy who is learning to socialize. Excellent service, pizza, and great beer selection. Looking forward to returning!

Loved it! Very small inside but wonderful large stone patio. Can't wait for warmer weather. Reasonably priced. Nice place to talk and enjoy a nice night. When summer comes, it'll be great to sit on the patio and listen to the waterfall across the street. Or walk around the shops and drop in for a glass of wine. Also, our server was super nice

My boyfriend and I visited there April 2021. They were not quite open yet and we had expressed we were a little disappointed, because we were wanting to try it. the host was more than happy to seat us and tell us we can sit enjoy the view and have a glass of beer or wine while we waited for them to open. It was a very cute place. Great view , great service great beer. We did not have time for food , but it smelled and looked delicious.

Love! My husband and I ate at The Owl for dinner and it loved it so much, we went back the next night. The food is delicious!!! We ordered different meals each night and were not disappointed, very flavorful and fresh. The staff is super nice and Ryan the owner, is a gem. We will definitely be coming back.

Overall experience was Great! Food was spot on. Service was friendly and exceptional. Would go back tomorrow.

The Owl is one of our favorite places to go. We always feel welcomed and the food and wine is amazing!! The staff is incredibly friendly and are very knowledgeable about wine! Can't wait for warmer weather to enjoy their outdoor dining options!!

My Family and I had a Wonderful time at the "Owl'..The Staff could not have been nicer..Nice relaxed atmosphere. Great Food. Pizzas. Entree's. Appetizers etc..Very knowledgeable about the Various Beers available (great selection).. Beautiful location near Lake Waramaug.. Highly recommend..

The wine selection is varied and unique. We had the butternut squash and sage Mac and cheese and that was absolutely delicious. The owners are talking of expanding their kitchen so they can offer more menu items, but in the meantime what they do have is excellent.
