One World Roasters

One World Roasters Cafe is a coffee lover's dream in East Haven! The high-quality, ethically sourced coffee is a true standout, with incredible single origins, delightful espressos, and perfectly crafted blends. The seasonal coffees are also a nice touch! I'm a fan of their espressos, but the iced americano steals the show for me.

The staff is exceptionally friendly, making each visit a pleasant experience. We always make it a point to stop by when we're in town, but be sure to get there before noon as they usually close early. The shop is small with limited seating so not the best place to hang out.

I've been driving past this spot for over a year now every morning on my way to work - And every time I've been intrigued by it. It looked so small, and I never seemed to see more than one or two cars in the parking lot.

I'm a huge sucker for small business' and I panic internally when I notice one seems less busy than their corporate counterparts would be at that time, because I personally wish more small business' were able to thrive around here. It hurts me to see people put their time, efforts and money out there, and get nothing in return and end up having to close down what once was their dream.

I finally stopped in this morning for an iced coffee - I typically get cold brew but I guess they don't do it this time of year. So I settled on an iced coffee with an espresso shot (I like strong and flavorful coffee) I was pleasantly surprised to find that their iced coffee with an espresso shot held more boldness and taste than a dunkin cold brew with an espresso shot. The coffee itself had delicious chocolate notes, but not bitter chocolate like an overly roasted coffee bean. He also uses coffee ice cubes so big points for that.

The shop itself is very small, but so quaint, cozy, and quiet. He has it set up and decorated very well. The music is also calm acoustic versions of popular songs. A good amount of merch for purchase to get focus on who they are, but not overwhelming. It gives you "having coffee at your friends apartment" vibes. Also, not full to the brim with loud people all rushing to get their coffee before work. Just a nice calm and quick morning coffee stop.

Very clean inside, and the menu is really simple to understand and not clunky, which I appreciate since I usually find that most individually owned coffee shops tend to have really large, loud, clunky, in your face hand written menus that make me stressed out and want to leave LOL.

He was very kind, and instead of your usual "thank you have a great day" (if you're lucky enough to even get that at one of the chain places) it was a "thank you for stopping in today" which holds much more value to me, and shows that he appreciated me coming in and supporting his business.

Thank you for a great cup of coffee to start my Friday! My next stop will be coming by to sit outside on the patio the first warm spring morning!

This is a little gem of a coffee shop. They are passionate about their work, enthusiast, knowledgeable and friendly. One of the things that makes them stand out is the freshness of their coffee. They roast their own beans with coffees from all over the world. They also make a lot of unique flavored hot or cold brew style beverages. It has a cozy feel to is and is perfect for enjoying a cup any day. Each time I go back I feel more welcome by the staff and owners.

We hadn't ordered from OWR in a while, but did this morning at about 10:15am. Ordered two pounds of whole beans for local delivery and was thinking it would arrive tomorrow sometime. But, it was here before 4pm today!! What a great service to provide to local customers -- to go along with the great coffee. Thanks so much!

One World is by far the best coffee I've ever had. At this point it is the only coffee my boyfriend and I buy to have at home every morning (we usually always get the Kenyan-Organic Kirimiri). My brother also tried it earlier this year and has become obsessed. I now prefer to make my own coffee at home rather than going out to coffee shops because I know it'll always come out great. Definitely give them a try-whether you're going to their cafe or buying a bag of beans to have at home. You won't be disappointed!

Love this place! Great coffee and vibes. The 'Almond Joy' coffee is my favorite and beyond compare. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and joyful. And as if all that wasn't enough, the outdoor seating is the ultimate relaxation. Benches in the shade by a water fountain and a hella cool rock maze in the back of the shop with smooth stones, gorgeous flowers, soothing waterfall and meditative Buddha statue.
Only wish they had better hours, especially afternoon hours. The times are kinda random.

Great little spot! Excellent fresh coffee, patio area to sit is lovely. Clean, friendly, environmentally conscious.

I ran out of coffee Sunday morning. I ordered their coffee for local delivery that morning. The coffee was at my door when I got back from errands two hours later! Amazing service and the coffee is great and the price is super reasonable! If you live in New Haven, I highly recommend this roaster. I'll have to check out the actual cafe soon. Super happy with my purchase.

We absolutely love having this coffee shop in our hometown. The owners are incredibly generous and kind and they source the best ingredients to make their delicious coffees. We love the creativity they put into their monthly flavored lattes!

One World Roasters have been a singular joy to me in the last 18 months. Locally roasted coffee with free, fast delivery in New Haven County. 10000000% would recommend. These guys are great!

Their coffee is delicious and you can feel that they are passionate about what they do. It is a quaint little spot but I would stop by for a quick coffee if you can.

Great place to purchase brewed coffee or very special organic coffee beans. Many great tasting coffees and blends. Hands in service from the very friendly, professional and knowledgeable owners. A real gem tucked away here in East Haven, Connecticut.

Bought their cold brew blend to brew at home in a new cold brew maker. Undisputedly the best coffee I've ever had. No more need for Dunkin or Starbucks.

Really great coffee from a guy who really cares and works like a machine. Cafe opens 1/14/19 but till then you can order from his website. Amazingly, local orders are delivered free... By the owner! Try his coffee... You will not be disappointed!

This is the best coffee and fastest local delivery. I have tried every whole bean and decided sumatra is my favorite, but they are all great in their own way. 5 stars is not enough!

Stopped by after an afternoon of geocaching along the Quinnipiac River. Had the house blend and it was really good! Will be back.
