Very nice older theater connected to a modern Town Hall structure. The combination creates access to elevators and plenty of amenities like lots of bathrooms and nice wide stairwells. The acoustics wete excellent and tne classic seating was very comfortable.

Beautiful, the Carol King Musical was terrific! Quaint olde time theatre. Beautiful seats. I could just imagine the ladies in their long dresses and men in top hats all prim and proper seeing vaudeville shows there. History is what made us today, we should all embrace and enjoy the past, present and future. This theatre does just that.

Kids put on the Little Mermaid for kids - they did an amazing job. Always a great show at the Landmark!

Lovely Opera House located in the center of town, inside the municipal center. Staff is friendly, Opera House was clean. Plenty of restrooms. There was strict covid-19 protocols in place and I felt very safe with my family. Would visit again

A small but fun theater. Located in a municipal building on an upper floor.
Very historical theater. Fun place to see a xhow. Local cast and crew do an incredible job.

What a gem this place is. We saw an amazing show. It was made even better because of different aspects of the theater. We loved the multi level stage and the relatively small amount of seating, which means there's not a bad seat in the house. My most favorite part was the dancing on the wooden stage. Each footfall made an impression, loud and robust, you could feel it in your body. Thrilling! I would highly recommend the theater for a great night (or afternoon) out.

We went and saw the Sound of Music at the Opera House. What a wonderful venue and bravo to all the actors and actresses! This was as close to off Broadway we have been to in a long time. The theater was well run and organized. Definitely will be going back to upcoming shows. Excellent value.

The Thomaston Opera House, when entering felt antiquated, so I was a bit concerned about the show. However, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the performance. I saw Jesus Christ Superstar - the singing was amazing. You cannot get a better deal for your money.

This is a great community theater. Me and my family have been coming for three seasons. The shows are entertaining and the theater is very comfortable. I recommend center orchestra seating if you can get you tickets on time. The staff is great, Jeff and Andrea are great people, stop and say high if you have a chance.

A little gem in Thomaston! The opera house is a beautiful venue inside the town hall. Hosting the Landmark Community Theater's productions for years, the production of Rudolph was delightful! It was well cast and the adaptation of the animated version was tons of fun for adults and kids! A great way to kick off the holiday season.

Just saw "Chicago" last week. Having seen the show on Broadway I had very high expectations. The acoustics were wonderful and this show did not disappoint. Each and every actor had a stellar performance. It is hard to believe this is community theater. Can't wait for future shows. I am sure to become a season ticket holder!

I love the Opera house, its beautiful, easy to navigate and the police department is in the same building so it's extremely safe. I'm currently taking a class and the people there are very nice and helpful. The shows are amazing and everyone has a good time!

We love the Thomaston Opera House. The shows are like Broadway Musicals. The props, scenery, actors, actresses, and all involved are spectacular. We are never disappointed when we come to see a show! Even the organ player prior to the show beginning is a great treat! We can't wait to see the next show!

#culture #showtime #theater #nightout Elf was a good show. 1st time to this theater was running late missed signs ran up 3 flights of stairs to the back of the house. Should of headed to elevator at town hall in middle of building. Water & things were available for sale at intermission multiple washroom options seemed to work out with modest lines. very enjoyable time would go again.
