Colosseo Restaurant & Pizza

Hidden gem! Best Italian food in the area. I’ve been looking for restaurants that could make a good bolognese sauce and this place is authentic! The pasta and spices are incredibly tasty and the service is excellent. I had octopus as an appetizer and it was out of this world, and this is not an easy seafood dish to make. Will definitely add to our favorite places to go!!

Looking for a date night?. Or just really good food with the family?... this is the best one in town!!! My husband and I come here for our date night and we also come with our three children (who love the pizza and pastas!!!)They have amazing staff and the food is so delicious!!!

Hadn't been here for 25 years. Wow, amazing pleasant surprise. Best Italian dinner I've had in a long time. Had the Trout special. The favors were so pleasing. We will be back soon. Only suggestion is to add lights to flow over parking area.

I’ve only gotten take out from here but they have the absolute BEST pizza in New Milford!!!! I’ve tried many pizza places around and this is it!!! So flavorful, thin crispy crust, and cooked to perfection. It’s the closest to NY style pizza you will find around here. Trust me. Look no further!!!

Was on our way to a friend’s restaurant but they had closed. We stopped in here and let me tell you. Food, service and everything else was phenomenal. We’re from the Bronx and Oxford and we know food. Make the trip. We will again.

The restaurant had very good food and the environment was great. I would definitely go back and I totally recommend if you’re in the area.

My favorite, and best pizza place in New Milford, very polite, very well trained staff, and are very consistent on quality of the food. my go too for pizza.

Quiet dinner with my wife and son. Very attentive staff. Little ones like my son are hard to handle, our waitperson was very patient and deserves my accolades!

Everything was simply outstanding last night. The atmosphere is cozy, and the service girls are a pleasure. The calamari fritti was light, crispy, and perfectly cooked. I had the Haddock special that was out of this world and the Calamari & Scungilli Puttanesca is always delicious. Thanks for another great night!

Delicious! As somebody who likes thin crust, I'd highly recommend. The salads were fresh and not over powered by dressing. The wait staff was friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be coming back... with friends!

Again Colosseo you knocked it out of the park. We have never had calamari so tender and sweet. Everything was wonderful, Bella is great, thanks for a great night.

Colosseo has great food! We have been eating there for years. I always get the rolled eggplant stuffed with ricotta with a side of penne (his sauce is my delicious). My husband gets the fish special and the mussels (v. fresh). We have tried mostly everything on the menu, yum. Can't say enough about the chef Roberto and the staff is always attentive and pleasant. I would give them 10 stars if I could :)

Really delicious home made mushroom ravioli. The atmosphere in the dining room is much improved. The calamari was also very nice. My wife had the gnocchi which she enjoyed. Planning on going back and trying more items from the extensive menu.

I picked up a cold pizza not late but early it was still very good when I call to let them know I got wild Billy on phone( AKA PIZZA GUY) who lost his temper despite

I was not expecting a high food quality, superb presentation and outstanding service, tucked away in what seemed like a bit of a roadside pizza/bar....But that's exactly what I got.

The double doors were a bit confusing and door number one, gets you in the bar....Ok next. Fortunately, the hallway leads you to a pick up counter, that immediately has the actual entrance to the restaurant and dining room.

The ambiance and even the table arrangements, are all well done and not one bad table in the room. There is a more private room but the main area, is the place to be.

Steve, our waiter, was above and beyond expectations for a New Milford restaurant. His ability to engage client's and literally hold down and coordinate an busy evening, was impressive. He had full knowledge of the menu and made all of the patrons feel as if we were regulars....And after this experience, we will be.

The Lobster Risotto was an absolute masterpiece and the Rack of Lamb was perfectly executed and Steve's guidance and suggestions, were spot on.

We will be back and you should give this restaurant a try.....You will also be happy you did.
