La Piccolina

I just cant imagine giving this place a negative review. My wife and I travel quite a bit and dine at many upscale restaurants and we consider La Piccolina very comparable. I guess even at the best restaurants it is possible to have a sub-par experience but coming here several times a month gives us a unique perspective. The owner Sandy is no-nonsense but is wonderful and her husband Carlos is an incredible chef. Would highly recommend dining here.

So, so accomodating and welcoming. Butternut squash ravioli was out of this world. Only place I've ever had it that quality was Michelin starred restaurants. They managed to accommodate our ridiculous time limit request and we were in and out in a half hour. Will definitely be back again soon!

I would have to say this place has very good food, I had the spaghetti ttutto mare(something like that... I think I completely buchered the name... :) ) I will definitely be coming back here whenever I am in the area to try their other dishes. They had a nice small but comfy outdoor setup. Did not get a chance to see inside but will next time.

We have eaten here several times by ourselves and with friends. The food and service was always very good. Pasta, meat and veggies are all good. Their daily specials are always great choices.

We had our wedding rehearsal dinner here on 5/21, and Sandra was so incredible throughout the short planning. She was very easy to get in touch with, the menu was very clear, and pricing was easy. Everyone still raves about how delicious all the food was, including dessert. We had such a great time and can't wait to go back for dinner on our own to try the rest of the menu.

We had an amazing dinner. The ravioli was delicious and the desserts were generous. Great, friendly service, pleasant atmosphere, and excellent jazz music. The whole family really enjoyed our meal.

Seriously the best. In a town full of Italian options it doesn’t get better, tastier and more fresh than La Piccolina! I’ve seen into the kitchen and it’s all great quality products and best of all the pasta is HOME MADE! There is such a difference when it’s not boxed pasta. The chef takes pride in his menu and it shows on the plate. And the service is always attentive, polite and happy to serve. Usually sit on the patio but love the vibe inside as well, especially at night. You cannot go wrong dining with La Piccolona!!

Stopped by for some lunch today. So happy we did. The food was amazing and the service was too. But we also have to make sure to mention that the Bacon Cheeseburger was one of the best! I come into town fairly often and will definitely be returning the next time I do!

This place is a gem. So elated to finally have dinner here. The service was great and so was the food. Crab cakes were delish, salmon entree was tasty and fresh. The service was on point. They have a warm and friendly staff. I will definitely be going back.

Absolute perfection. Every neighborhood should be so lucky to have a restaurant like this, let alone the best and most authentic Italian food around. The interior is very cozy and intimate and the food is served with love and pride. I'm moving out of the area, and will miss this sparkling gem.

Hosted a private party for my husband's 60th birthday here. Food was great. Glasses were never empty..Sandra and her team were extremely accommodating to all our requests including table arrangements, music, menu choices, and decorations. Our guests were allowed to remain beyond our reserved time, even though it was a Sunday evening after a busy Valentine's weekend. I would definitely recommend La Piccolina for a private event or an enjoyable meal out.

Always an excellent meal and service.
Restaurant is small and personable, with great meal selections and daily specials. I recently had the duck breast on crustini ap and homemade chicken meatballs with tagliatelle pasta as entree.
During each of my visits, you can tell the chef and staff take personal pride in their daily prep and presentations.
You will leave feeling specially treated and not just another guest in a busy restaurant.

I fell in love the moment I sat down. Quiet music, dark candle light, good wine, fine fare. Our servers were top notch. Never interfering, but knowing when to come to the table. My meal was gnocchi with mushrooms in a red sauce. Pillowy, deliciousness. Everything on the menu is fresh.....handmade..... perfectly presented and portion size was just right. I highly recommend giving this "little" place a try. I loved it. Like a taste of Italia in our backyard.

Fantastic food and service. Homemade pasta was incredible and waitstaff is properly trained. It feels like Manhattan level service.

Lunch with mom. She had a bowl of chicken veg soup with homemade pasta. Ate every drop. I had sausage with broccoli Rabe and mozzarella. Delicious. Mom and I shared a desert...crepes with peaches...omg!!!!! I didn't want to share. Reasonably priced and table was serviced well

Always a wonderful meal. La Piccolina never disappoints. Their homemade pasta, fresh ingredients , and loving preparation make dinner here a pleasure. I love ordering their fresh fish dinners, as Chef Carlos is very picky about the quality of the fish. The tortellini is light and highly recommended. Other favorites are the Pear Salad, tiramisu, and all the homemade pastas

Absolutely lovely dinner! The owner was very nice and accommodating. We had a party of 6 and had made a reservation somewhere else. Unfortunately, that place closed so we wandered into this Italian restaurant. Glad we did! Food was fresh, wine was great, and the atmosphere was perfect. Thank you! We will be back!
