Charming farm house full of italian flavor! Upper Crust really brought it!!! We had appetizers for the whole table this year.

One of my favorites was the Caesar salad...
Mushrooms with the melted cheese were just amazing. I definitely would drive out just for that appetizer alone.
We also tried flatbread pizzas which were amazing in themselves. calamari- light and fresh
Wash it all down with a limoncello.
Main course I ended up with the shrimp scampi which was served on a bed of homemade linguine.
And for dessert I had tiramisu.
It was very nice to meet everybody from Upper crust and with special guests from Kent falls breweries
Also a very special thank you for noting on the menu which things have goat cheese in them especially since I am allergic to it so it was greatly appreciated.

Always so welcoming and treated like family. The food is delish! And the weekly specials that change weekly are awesome. I love seeing the new ideas for appetizers. Also my favorite place for pizza in this neck of the woods. Highly recommend their specialty pies, the margarita is to die for.

Upper Crust Cucina is one of our favorite Italian restaurants in the Litchfield Hills! All of their pasta and desserts (Tuscan Tiramisu!) are homemade, the pricing is very affordable, and friendly customer service is always delivered. A cozy atmosphere for date nights, family dinners and gatherings for friends!

Homey ambiance, literally in a 1900s home. Warm and cozy during cold winter months. Pizza all wonderful and other dishes such as short ribs, bolognese and other pastas most excellent. Wednesday evenings order one pizza get one free after 5.30 pm

I love their food. I’ve eaten here probably about an average of once per every 1.5 weeks for the past four years or so. The service quality is highly dependent on who is helping you (some great, some extremely meh), but the food makes up for everything. Excellent pizzas, pasta dishes, and salads/starters. The quality of ingredients is noticeably high. Whenever I have guest visiting and order take away from here, everyone always compliments on how good it is. Just writing this review makes me want to order something right now.

First time trying Upper Crust tonight. It had been on our list for a while, and I’m so glad we finally went! The food was delicious, our waiter was SO friendly, and since it was a perfectly crisp fall night, we sat outside on the beautiful patio area with string lights and heaters, which made for a great ambiance.
Our order:
Drinks: Apple Cider Martini (AMAZING and large) and a margarita.
Appetizers: Mini Eggplant Parm and Gnocchi. They were kind enough to put the entree sauce on the gnocchi for us, which included thick cut bacon and spinach, which was delicious. The gnocchi was perfectly light and pillowy. The eggplant parm has olives, which I unfortunately don’t eat, but my fiancé loved it.
Salads: we ordered two small salads and both were to die for! The roasted vegetable salad was absolutely incredible - one of the best salads I’ve ever had. I’d come back here for this alone. The pear and prosciutto salad was also delicious with plenty of toppings.
Pizza: we ordered the margherita. The crust was thin and pastry-like, which I love, and the tomatoes were so fresh. We both said it tasted clean and light - not greasy at all.
Dessert (yes, we ate a lot): we ordered the chocolate mousse flourless cake and ice cream. It was rich and delicious, but very light because of the mousse.

All-in-all, we loved it and can’t wait to go back!

Went here for dinner with a friend. Long drive from my home but well worth it. The place is not big, made for a nice quiet dinner. Our food was prepared well and DELICIOUS. Especially loved their meatballs! Not many places make good meatballs.

Charmingly small and cozy. Consistently delicious creative meals. Good well priced wine list with great special wines featured nightly. Efficient friendly staff. We come here at least twice a month. We always leave happy!!

We have been going to Upper Crust for years. The service is always wonderful, Nancy and her staff are incredible and attentive. The food is amazing. I love the variety of pizza, salads and their menu is always filled with specials and new things to try!

Best pizza and desserts I have ever had.

It is a cozy dining experience with friendly and helpful staff. The food is exceptional, I would bring and do bring all of my out-of-town guests here. The owner is particularly friendly and warm. It is a very intimate dining experience, which is very important to me as well as the outdoor porch which is enclosed as far as having a roof but open on the sides.

The fresh ingredients stand out with the Margherita pizza I had. The special drinks were especially tasty. We also enjoyed the table on the old porch for a great lunch! Our outstanding server was particularly friendly and helpful.

What a great place! We stopped in for pizza, we had the meat lovers pizza. It was delicious! We both started with salads I had the quinoa salad and my husband had the ceasar both were great! The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Bruscuitto fig pizza is to die for!!

Everything thing here was pretty good. I really enjoyed the mozzarella garlic bread and pizza. I liked that the restaurant was an old house converted too.

Upper Crust is not your average Italian restaurant. Established on the first floor of a one time home along Route 202, this quaint restaurant never seems to disappoint even the most demanding of pallets. Food comes out hot and seasoned to perfection. Staff are attentive but not intrusive. There's even outdoor seating on the wrap around porch when weather permits. Whether you're in the mood for a pizza or a crispy organic salmon steak Upper Crust will wow you.

Servers were very attentive, knew the menu, and cared about your satisfaction. Manager/hostess Nancy was very pleasant and friendly.
Food was superb, without exception. We four loved the flat bread blanketed with arugula, zuppa de pesce was the best ever, lamb ragu over house made pappardelle was sublime, and the chicken piccata was. delicious and enough for two
We skipped dessert but enjoyed delicious coffee.

Fantastic food! Ate here with family on a cold night. Restaurant was warm, inviting, and service was great! They have a limited full bar as well as wine and beer. A pizza feeds two.
