I've been going here for years and the food is always great. I enjoy their chicken tenders and fries meal when I want lunch and there are a ton of great breakfast options. Depending on the day, it can get pretty crowded here though. It's great on weekdays or off hours on weekends, but during peak brunch time, I would not go here with a large group.

The Brownstone is our hands-down favorite local diner. We're regulars here and have literally never been disappointed. It gets really busy but the wait is never bad, service is always friendly and quick and we're never rushed out. Deb is our fav but the whole team is fantastic!! Some standout menu items are any of their eggs benedict specials (but esp the salmon), kielbasa omelet, breakfast burritos, and the 2x2x2 (my bf's regular with bacon, scrambled eggs with cheese, and pancakes, and extra bacon!!). The pancakes are to die for (apple cinnamon!!!! lemon blueberry!!!!) Specials rotate every weekend and highlight seasonal items & when we do stray to their lunch menu everything's been good!! French fries paired with an omelette FTW when hungover

Had breakfast here every day while here for Aaron's graduation. Great diner. Good food. Reasonable prices. Friendly service.

If you are travelling the Merritt Parkway n want to stop off for a quick breakfast, some gas, n bio break, stop here. Breakfast came out super fast, super good, and super service...

Usually, when I'm new in town, I find someone who's grown up there and ask where the best breakfast place would be in town.. A new friend suggested Brown Stonehouse.... The people were very cordial, very friendly... The food was absolutely fantastic. I loved my breakfast.... I love to go have breakfast at private small places. The big chains tend to be Hitt or miss..... But I have to say I fell in love with this place... And I can't wait for next Saturday to go for breakfast.. I give it a 9.55 out of 10. And the only reason why it didn't get a ten. I never given anything a 10. Go there and enjoy you will love it, I guarantee it.

Got chocolate chip pancakes, scrambled eggs & sausage. So good!! Hazelnut coffee was also very good :) I’ve lived a 2 minute walk away from this place for a year and I’m so disappointed I have never been here before!! Definitely will be back!

I ordered breakfast from this place recently and was so pleasantly surprised at how good the food was, but mostly how smooth the whole transaction went from start to finish. The lady was super sweet and accommodating. I showed up to pick up the order 5 mins early and this wonderful lady was just like 'oh gosh no problem. I'll get the order ready for you now'. And she was back in 2 mins. I paid. Then i left. She had made up a separate little bag with all the condiments i could fathom, before I got there. This woman was totally prepared.... At 615am!! Power to her and i will be back to this place very soon.

Great Breakfast with big portions and reasonably priced. The kielbasa is great and so are the homefries and pancakes. Our over medium eggs were cooked perfectly every time. Ended up coming back multiple times while in town visiting.

I adore Brown Stone. Every server is a sweetheart and no matter what you get it is always absolutely delicious. They have a croissant french toast special that they run...stop...it is so good. Topped with fruit, whipped cream, and cinnamon! It's to die for!!

The epitome of greasy spoon. Friendly and fast service. Good coffee. Orders as you asked. Hasn't been remodeled in, maybe, ever? Take a time machine to the late 1940's - 50's and visit Brown Stone. Just don't go for dinner. Breakfast and lunch or and only on weekdays.

We love eating there. The food is really tasty. Portions are decent for the price. The staff is really friendly and always on point. By far one of my favorite diners
