Fox Hopyard On the Rocks Restaurant

We got married at OTR at Fox Hopyard on 9/10/22. It was an absolutely perfect day from start to finish! Melanie was so helpful throughout the planning process, and very easy to reach. She is so organized, knowledgeable, and super detail oriented! We had our rehearsal dinner the Thursday before the wedding, and she was able to coordinate with our officiant and wedding party to ensure a smooth flow for our rehearsal. On our wedding day, Melanie and her staff were super attentive and available throughout the entire day and night (from getting ready in the bridal suite to packing up all the decor at the end of the night) to ensure everything went smoothly. The set-up of the venue for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception was perfect, and all the decorations were set-up beautifully. Every detail was accounted for! The food and drinks were so delicious for both the rehearsal dinner and on our wedding day! We had so many compliments from our guests regarding the food and venue itself- they loved the picturesque outdoor space and charm of the venue. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day, and are thankful for the great experience with On The Rocks at Fox Hopyard.

Melanie and the team at OTR are the absolute best. Melanie has a true gift for event planning and execution, her talent shines through in the details she is able to think about and plan for. When we last minute added a hot pretzel station for the end of the night, she thoughtfully had the staff put out to-go containers for each guest. She did the same for cupcakes we had for dessert, without us asking (honestly I never would have thought to even ask for this)!. When it got chilly during dinner before dancing started, the team brought out heaters for the guests, when the shuttle bus wouldn't drive up the hill to pick everyone up she coordinated several golf carts to drive guests down to the bus (while I stood there in a panic). The staff set up our table decor fantastically, they were so attentive to myself and my husband throughout the day. We had drinks waiting for us after we walked up the aisle when the ceremony ended. We had a platter of appetizers brought directly to us during cocktail hour. They accommodated requests from family members and bridal party members that were not planned for and they were so gracious about it when they easily could have said no. I would recommend everyone who wants to have a midsize wedding check out OTR! The value for the cost is outstanding and Melanie is truly a magician. I can not recommend OTR enough!

Weddings at On the Rocks are as fun as they are unique. If you're looking for something that isn't typical, this is the place. Their cuisine is both flavorful and portioned perfectly. You'll never go away hungry. The pavillion is a great place for a reception because you're out of the elements and a slight breeze is almost always present to keep your guests comfortable. There's more than ample room for a dance floor for your guests to enjoy. Melanie is a joy to work with and will ensure that every part of your wedding is taken care of efficiently. All in all, a great place to get married!

The Safari Club of Golf played here on September 4. It was our inaugural trip to this fantastic layout with well over one-hundred of our members in attendance.

Unfortunately, the greens had been recently punched, but we knew that going into it, and anyone with a modicum of common golf sense knows these annual maintenance issues are paramount in keeping the golf courses pristine. So no big deal there as the layout and facilities are truly SPECTACULAR.

The WOW factor was in play ALL DAY and we already have members asking if we plan on adding Fox Hopyard to our annual schdule in the future. I guess that sums up the Safari Club's experience pretty well.

My son just had his wedding at On the Rocks. It was AMAZING! Melanie was so professional and spent the day making sure we loved everything. She was quick with emails and went above and beyond all of our requests. She gave great advice and helped make decisions. The food was fantastic, our guests are still talking about the clam chowder. Every menu item was delicious and beautifully served. We had a gorgeous weather day and i don't think there was anything to improve. The staff was awesome, so friendly and helpful. The venue looked magical. They transformed it into everything my son and his new wife wanted. Just beautiful. Best day ever

My husband and I had our wedding at Fox Hopyard in June and it was amazing. Melanie goes above and beyond and she truly made planning a wedding nowhere near as stressful as I anticipated. She not only is responsive and extremely helpful but also so professional. The day would not have run as smoothly and effortlessly without her. The food was amazing and the presentation was beautiful. Everyone kept commenting on how pretty everything was set up and the ice cream sundae bar and French fry station were definitely peoples favorites. Our wedding was everything we wanted and more! So me and three friends played the fox Hopyard golf course today. I posted a different review about that bad experience. But I could not combine my bad golf review with the OUTSTANDING review of the On the Rocks Restaurant. What a nice experience there. Without question a classy place. The place was clean, all of our meals were excellent, and the service (THANK YOU Janise) was outstanding. She gave us top shelf service. Was very personable, and even mentioned our golf course criticism to the assistant director. If you are just passing by the area, it is a great place to stop for a bite to eat. One last thing, the beverage cart young lady, Morgan, was also very nice.

Had my brother and future sister in laws rehearsal dinner there last night. Choices were chicken milinais or NY Strip. Both were excellent. We sat on side porch and it was beautiful out there. Staff nice did not rush us. Melanie who booked it very easy to work with and very responsive via email.

Interesting, creative food. We had the Lobster Potato Skins, good. Fried Pork Ribs, outstanding. Menu had well-rounded selections that would make Gordon Ramsey proud. Atmosphere was very relaxing. We sat outside where we could here the live band. Service was friendly and attentive. (Thank you Connor). Hostess was kind and accomodating. I definitely will return if I can.

We were a foursome celebrating Thanksgiving 2019. The staff & the food were outstanding.The variety of dishes offered were pleasing to all diets! You would be a mean spirited person if you were not satisfied with the wonderful dishes offered. Our only wish was that we were un able to eat more as our bellies were full ❤Definitely worth a return visit

Great course layout. Good driving range. Clubhouse is modern and Patio area has great views.

The new winter menu is so good that we look forward to going back soon. The sweet potato bisque in an acorn squash bowl is my new favorite. My husband enjoyed the warm bread pudding.

Thank you so much for a wonderful dinning experience. The Hillcrest Womens Club enjoyed the beautiful and delicious luncheon. We especially enjoyed sitting on the terrace overlooking the beautiful view of the Golf course!!

Purchased the Thanksgiving dinner for 2. Also, purchased the Waldorf salad and an apple pie. All were excellent! The staff was polite and friendly. Highly recommend.

Limited menu for lunch, great indoor and outdoor seating with reasonable prices. You can't beat the view outdoors unless your on a lake or ocean.

The food was fantastic and the service was too. The dining room was a little noisy but I still think it's worth five stars..

Excellent food. They even do special requests! Swordfish was awesome, service was top notch.

Live music and fire heat lamps make for memorable experience
