Branford Wine and Liquor

This is the warehouse for anything wine and spirit. I was blown away at the myriad of wine I saw here. One thing that captivated me was the way they compartmentalized the wine by the country it’s made. It was really and awesome experience when I visited. The staffers are polite and kind. There’s a also a wheelchair accessible entrance here

I walked in at about 5 pm, New Year's Eve, and was almost immediately greeted by a gentleman that asked me if I needed help. I did, I just wanted a cost-effective but still yummy champagne. He cheerfully plucked a bottle from the shelf and handed it to me. When I walked to the register, there were multiple staff members behind the counter, checking out customers. They were all in excellent spirits. Very welcoming and happy environment. I can't wait to go back!

The prices are great and every employee that I have interacted with has been kind and helpful. I actually drive out of my way to shop here. Their selection of liquor is impressive and the prices are better than a lot of larger stores. The beer selection isn’t the largest, but is varied and has something for everyone. I found many craft varieties that I love.

This place is a great neighborhood store and I recommend it to anyone who needs some beer, wine, or liquor.

The very friendly dog is a great plus. He is a calm guy who loves carrots, so keep your eyes out for him!

I was lucky enough to stop at this liquor store after just moving here from California. It is my understanding that it is referred to as a “Package store” The owner of this store is awesome! The employees are also awesome! So helpful, so inviting and friendly! The prices are good and they have a great selection for it being a smaller store, not like a chain store! Thank you for creating an environment where you feel Welcomed right away!!

Love coming here for great advice and deals on all my favorite alcohol. They are my favorite store in the local area. It's super convenient for me since it's right off the highway on my way home from work, but also in a great little shopping plaza. The staff are always helpful and always ready to answer questions. The owners (a husband and wife) are super knowledgeable and have never steered me in the wrong direction. Bonus the owners and one of the staff sometimes have their dog behind the registrar's which makes shopping even better

The word Friendly doesn't even do the staff justice. All of them are fantastic people. I visit this place on the regular. The selection is excellent. Obviously isn't going to be as large as these big box wine stores like Total Wine or Coastal but the prices are some of the lowest in the area and you cannot beat the convenience. In many cases this store is inconvenient to get to for me only because they close at 9 and not 10 on many nights. But if I can scramble and get there in time I'll make the effort just because I feel like they deserve the business over any other competitors. For the size of the store the selection is phenomenal

My favorite store to visit and be serenaded by the lady with the lovely voice. Great selection for all beverages. Staff are always happy to help and they know their stuff. Hope you enjoyed the Remus V I left for you! 😉

This place is close to my house, but even if it was not, I would go out of my way to spend my money here. Extremely friendly, knowledgeable, helpful..they know their wine and their liquor, but not are never condescending about it. In fact, she (owner) will tell you to buy the cheaper of comparable wines. Well done! They will happily order anything they don't have.

One of the few package stores open late in Branford, when other places close early—this is a big deal. Very convenient. Always great customer service. Accessible and they always answer the phone if you need to call ahead to check stock. They have a good selection and good prices

This store provides an immaculate experience for buying alcohol. Never did I think that purchasing a 40 oz of Bud light would be a life-changing event, but the delightful and wholesome staff proved me otherwise.

Awesome staff that feel more like friends, great selection and prices. Friendly dogs too! You have to love a business that has furry greeters!

Great local wine, liquor and beer store. Stephan and Allison are wonderful owners and very knowledgeable. They are very friendly and willing to try and get something for you even if they don't already carry it. The rest of the staff is very friendly and helpful as well.

Located In the Big Y plaza, This is now my go-to liquor store. The staff couldn’t be friendlier, a huge selection of wine, and extremely safety conscious during this difficult pandemic event, for worry free shopping. Thanks so much for all you do!!

Outstanding service. Steffon (sorry if I spelled his name wrong) is very knowledgeable and friendly. They have often been able to get me beers and bourbons not normally carried and at competitive prices. I wouldnt go anywhere else for beer or liquor. And I believe it's locally owned too.
