Group of 8 had absolutely rockin Friday night dinner! Very friendly service, food was amazing. Had drinks at the bar after dinner waiting for Ubers. We will be back.

Went with friend on Sunday evening. He is regular and recommended it. Perfect meal with appetizer, wine ,main course and dessert.
Had mussels. lasagne. and lemon ice
Also some white wine
Mussels were in tasty garlic sauce. Wish I had more room for bread to sop it up. He took some of sauce home.
Lasagne excellent. Homemade noodles.
Brenda the waitress was excellent attentive to our needs.
A bit pricey and street parking are only neogative comments

Ahhh.....Portofino's! Food is incredible. Try the Manhattan style Calamari with the cherry peppers! The squid is so fresh and tender always cooked to perfection. The service is always top notch in such a clean and elegant setting, pricing is not bad considering the quality of the service and food. Highly recommend and will go again soon!

Wow what a lunch. We had our lunch group meeting today in New Haven and what a fabulous meal. The service was phenomenal and the food was fresh and special. Never had pork chop asso bucco and omg it was mouth watering. Came with delicious risotto. We tried multiple appetizers which everyone enjoyed including fried mozzarella, octopus steak, fried calamari and I think some people had the rice balls. The drinks are proper pours which is always important to me and my team. Well done and we will be back.

One of the best meal experiences in NH so far. It's on a pricier side though it falls short of being a real fine(r) dining option.

Nice evening, great food and drinks
in a comfortable restaurant.

Atmosphere is smooth, classy and mellow. Lights are dimmed champagne glasses type of restaurant classic Italian entrees. Food was cooked to perfection and very delicious🥰 we ordered the black Angus steak served with vegetables and potatoes with sauce. Also a stuffed salmon with lobster meat, steamed vegetables and fried mozzarella. Paired with a paradise martini and a red wine blend. Everything was definitely 5💫star quality. I'd definitely and absolutely recommend this place for a fine dining 🍽🍷 experience 👌👍🤌😘

Outstanding! Food, service and atmosphere. We enjoyed every bite.

The food is really really good, portions are huge and it is nothing overly fancy. Just good italian fair in a classy setting. The meat and cheese board for 2 has great meat and cheese selections as an app. The wait staff is friendly and time your courses perfectly. I totally recommend the espresso to finish the meal some of the best I've found in new haven!!

Everything the food, the atmosphere, the service is perfect. But what brings it to exceptional is the warmth, friendliness of the staff. It's a feeling like coming home.

Food is outstanding and if you are lucky to get Laurie then the service will be exceptional. She makes all feel welcome and you can tell she loves her job and communicates well with the kitchen. Anything with their delicious tomato sauce is fantastic
