Not only is the beer selection incredible, but I had a great experience with one of the cashiers. I didn’t get his name, but he was an older gentleman. He was so friendly and we had about about a 5 minute conversation about his life and mine. Hard to find retail employees who care that much these days. One of the best spots to go to in Branford!

Coastal Wine & Spirits is my go-to location for all types of mainstream beers, craft beers, inexpensive wines, expensive wines and that special bottle of Scotch for somebody at christmas. In other words they have everything. I live a couple towns away and drive there when I need to make more than a single item purchase. Their selection of local and other craft beers is absolutely fantastic. The range of wines price from $6 up to $600. They have extreme knowledge on all of them and do not push you to any higher priced items. Great business that I highly recommend.

Living in the south you realize how much more selection the north has. Coastal carries everything I could possibly imagine and more. I love finding liquors I could not find anywhere else

Favorite place to go!! HUGE SELECTION of everything! Only do they deliver, but curbside pickup too. But when U go in the store it's just humongous & everybody is so helpful. I don't drink beer @ all. But my bro-in-law loves his IPA & for bday & Father's Day I usually make him gift basket of things & so in there he likes to have a mix of stuff my sis gives me a few names of brands I go there they're so helpful w/ what to get him. They've never steered me wrong. And I do the same for her but I know what she likes high noon, CutWater etc & always getting in new things which is great. And they carry summer flavors throughout the year 365 days.

Great prices and a variety for any CT liquor store. Fantastic deals on selected wines and beers. They seem to keep up with the current selections available for the season.

Fantastic wine selection. Really appreciate the curbside delivery service during Covid. It certainly is very helpful given the number of folks who shop here. The young men and women who bring our purchases to the car are always very friendly and helpful.

Always a great selection and staff willing to help you as you browse. Their gin and beer selections I think are the standout features. I believe the whiskey/bourbon selection has gotten ever so slightly smaller recently.

Since I live in Pennsylvania, I always take the opportunity to check out liquor stores in other states and countries. This might be the best liquor store I have ever been in with an incredible selection of spirits, wines, beers and ciders. The depth of the collection is pretty astounding too. Whoever is purchasing inventory at this store really knows spirits. The rum variety was the largest I have ever seen. The staff was friendly as well and prices seemed reasonable. I will go out of my way in the future to visit this store.

Costal has a the best selection and the best prices in the area hands down. Their staff is friendly and helpful, the store is clean, definitely a pleasant place to shop. I always recommend them to anyone who is looking for something hard to find.

I only drink ciders and they always have a great selection and something I like.

Large selection of everything...in and out no long lines

I'll come here every now and again and it was a fine store with great selection... But now they also have some great items on discount and/or promotions on a few of the corners and I found some great flavors at amazing prices! If you like to try new things I'd highly recommend this place!

Best selection of alcohol in CT. The friendly and knowledgeable staff is more than happy to help you sort through their immense stock. They also can order special items if they do not carry it regularly. The prices are either average or bellow average to boot. Worth a stop if you need a great bottle of wine or craft beer.

Great selection, and very helpful and knowledgeable staff. It's easy to get your questions answered, and I think I've been offered assistance without having to ask for it more times at Coastal than in any other store. It's true that their prices aren't always the cheapest in town, but on the other hand I've found some brands to be less expensive there than either the liquor store by Kohl's (used to be the Wine Thief but they keep changing the name, can't remember what it is now) or South Shore Wine & Spirit in East Haven (at the other end of Short Beach Rd).
