River Street Restaurant

Mama Teresa is now my second favorite place for a plant Parm. Seriously River Street is now my fave. Also, I’m very picky when it comes to meatballs and the meatball appetizer was phenomenal. The price is here very very reasonable. And it is BYOB with a very low corkage fee would normally be an $80 night out for me and my wife turns into a $50 night out. Atmosphere is very relaxed and intimate and the food was fantastic. Everybody at the table was just as pleased as I am and we can’t wait to go back. You definitely will want reservations so make sure you call ahead.

We decided to give this restaurant a try due to good reviews. This restaurant was easy to find. I had to park along the street. Restaurant was small but it was clean. It had a simple decor. Unfortunately it was hot despite turning the fan on. Staff was friendly. Food was decent and price was reasonable for a good portion size. Food presentation was great. Ice cream tasted great.

We go here a lot. BYOB and GREAT Italian food. Make sure you make a reservation! I've had almost everything on the menu and haven't had anything I didn't like. The salad you get with your meal comes with 2 dressings ... The peppercorn one is SO GOOD!

What a wonderful time me and my husband shared at River Street restaurant! Atmosphere was Great and we loved the food. Didn't have to wait long in between meals and quality wise is a 20!!!!

Amazing food, outstanding service, great atmosphere and fair pricing. I almost don't want to say just how good it is because if more people knew it would be almost impossible to get in! It's BYOB and I believe reservations are reccomended but don't let that deter you from one of the best homemade Italian meals you will ever eat!

Delicious Italian food and incredible service (plus the prices are great). You can tell they really care about their customers and I've enjoyed everything on their menu. Sadly I do not live nearby, but will definitely be making sure I stop by the next time I am in town!

We've never been to this restaurant before so we didn't know what to expect. Their website said BYOB so we did, nice to have the wine you like. Tuesday night was slow so we had no trouble getting in, I'd suggest reservations any other night though because the place is small and I could see them filling up fast. Our waitress was friendly and very attentive without hovering. Opening salad was fresh and crisp. Our antipasto appetizer was varied, fresh and interesting, just enough for two. We split the specials with a plate of beef ravioli with mushrooms and a plate of seafood ravioli and shrimp. In a word outstanding. We will be back.

Such a cozy, quiet place. BYO bottle of wine, and sit comfortably, enjoying very tasty food at a very reasonable price. No credit cards accepted.

Amazing pasta dishes in a cozy atmosphere with your favorite wine, (that you bring) at great prices. End with a walk around the duck pond and it’s a perfect date night! Staff is awesome too.

I don't get the negative reviews with this place. This is our 6th visit in the past 4 months. The food is always amazing, service on point, and prices just right. We have loved everything we have tried so far. On top of that, you can't beat BYOB. Yes they charge a $3 cork fee, but that's a small price to pay for the convenience. One of the better Italian places in the area. Don't miss this one!

This restaurant is a hidden treasure. Small, quaint, and very cosy atmosphere. The food was fantastic and the owner and waitresses were just awesome. They made you feel like you were a part of the family. RESERVATIONS IS A MUST!!! And they are service oriented. I'll be back.

We went for the first time last night. OMG it was incredible. From start to finish. All of our meals were delish. We will go on a regular basis. Worth the drive from Fairfield. They go out of their way to make you feel at home. Love the fact that it is BYOB.

I've been here for two birthday parties and an anniversary...the food and service NEVER disappoint!
