Marquee Cinema - New Hartford, NY

Been there a cpl times and it's qhat you would expect. It's not too large or crowd so I liked that. Took my daughters recently and they loved it.we wanted to give our girls the full experience and was great full the popcorn is dairy free. Seems perfect for a family activity on Sunday afternoon/evening.

We have had good experiences here for movies with my family and friends. It would be sad to see these places become relics of the past. Go see a movie. It's just different than at home. Matinee pricing is nice too. Thank you.

I hadn't seen a movie in the theater in probably 15 years. I was shocked when I heard about reserved seating so I had to try it out. When did the seating change?? Holy moly, after seeing one movie, I've been back to this theater three times in one month! I love this place - I feel like I'm in my living room with the reclining seats that go ALL. THE. WAY. Back to where I'm practically lying down, with ample room for snacks and beverages, and no worry about having to move to let people go by. Gone are the days of seatback kicking, and tiny, uncomfortable flip seats that cram people in like sardines to fight over an arm rest. This is awesome! Now we just need better movies because I want to go back over and over again for the first time in years! (Restrooms are clean and plentiful, staff is friendly, no one bothers you, etc.)

I still love going to a movie theater and I’m glad we have this one locally. Seats are nice, but are showing wear from patrons. In a good area, surrounded by lots of shops and restaurants. Worth going to!

Drive almost an hour to come here every time! We love the comfort of the seats compared to anywhere near us. Love the easiness of buying tickets on the site beforehand and picking our seats.

The movie experience is great. Very comfortable reclining chairs. The food, however, is so expensive. $5 for dollar store candy. $15 for a large popcorn and soda.

Seats are comfortable. Popcorn is buttered by the person behind the counter. I would rather butter my own. Other than that , no complaints.

Until today, I haven't been to the Marquee in a minute. I will always hate the layout of Orchard Plaza, because it's a death trap, and parking is so stupid. However, the theater itself has come a long way. The theater uses RPX which is so much clearer than whatever they had before. It also has recliners now for all of their seats.

The only drawback is the facility is a bit rundown and looks a tad outdated. I do like that a small variety of restaurants share the same parking lot with the Marquee and are within walking distance, because their concession counter costs an arm, a leg, and a kidney. Although I wouldn't eat at 99 or Uno's anymore, I appreciate that those options are available in the plaza for people who do want to eat there.

In conclusion, going to the movies is always fun, unless you're a curmudgeon or have terrible tastes in movies. 5 out of 5 would recommend. Glad The Marquee is still thriving. I hope it's there 10 years from now.

The movie seats are great. I understand everything costs more in 2022, but the price I'm expecting a comfy seat. At this place you get all leather movie seats that electronically recline. Watched Black Adam today and the seats were very comfortable for the 2+ hr movie. Will return to watch more films.

The Marquee was setup very nice and was clean. The picture and sound was spot on, especially for a movie made in the '90s. I will definitely return in the near future.

I enjoyed coming here for a little date night.
Cute, reminded me of a 80s-90s theater walking in.
Long lines, but within 10-15 minutes we were able to get our food.
Bought our tickets online, and we also reserved seats J7 J8, and J7 did not recline, nor did the seat heat.
We had to move a couple seats down, thankfully the seats were open. Other than that, I enjoyed the time I was there!
Of course I went on a Saturday night, and not too many “kids”, or “loud- tempered” teenagers. Everyone respected one another’s space! Will definitely come again. 7/10 for sure ❤

Watched The Batman with my son and a friend. They really enjoyed it. My reserved seats were taken so I slept in the Captain's seat. That large coke with no ice and extra butter popcorn was everything. The ushers even kicked out a group of kids who were disturbing my sleep. I think this is one of the most pleasant Cinemax in the area. I even felt refreshed enough after the movie to play some games with my son. Old folks, get your naps when and where you can. 😂

Fav movie theater to go to in the area. Prices are a little expensive but worth it if you have the money to get snacks / drinks. Would recommend arriving 30 - 45 min before a showing (especially weekends) because you have to pick out your seats when you purchase tickets here.

The seats were upgraded during the pandemic and are extremely comfortable. Rows and seat numbers are clearly marked in all theaters and the projectors work great.

The only thing I would love to see improved would be the bathrooms… in one of the toilet stalls of the ladies room (lobby, not the ones by the theaters) has been missing a toilet seat for a while and I’m probably not the only person to avoid that stall all the time.

Five stars for pricing, parking, comfort and watching experience. We stood in line for 20 minutes for popcorn and drinks with 4 folks in front of us! Unacceptable! Staff was moving around somewhat clueless ( not trained?!) People returning sodas that were water...just unnecessary things that would not happen if correctly trained.
There was no flow or good customer service.

Positive: This place has to be one of the most top quality movie theaters I've been to. Everytime I've come to watch a movie I'm greeted with a spotless, clean seating area with comfortable leather chairs that can be adjusted with buttons on the seating to incline forward and backwards. Not only that, you can even control the chair's cooling and heating system as well to ensure maximum comfort.

Negative: Though the theater offers topnotch quality, the pricing may be a little uncomfortable for some people's budget, especially if you're traveling with a group. For adult tickets you may be expected to pay up to $15 (not including tax) and you should consider bringing an additional $10-20 per person if you're also purchasing foods and drinks.

Overall: The Marquee Cinema has left some great memories in my mind and so far has to be one of the best cinemas in the area. The quality and pricing balance out each other and so far I've had exceptional employee service who are always there to greet you with a smile. I would say that it's definitely worth of receiving a 5-star rating and I look forward to seeing many more future movies in the cinema.

I had an amazing experience renting out a theater for a private viewing for my daughter's birthday party this weekend! The price was very reasonable, I would definitely have another event here again. Everyone said they had a wonderful time and the grandparents approved of the super comfortable seating. We really enjoyed having the theater to ourselves and the 3 hours we were allowed was the perfect length to enjoy the movie and still get through all the traditional birthday festivities. Highly recommended for any occasion!

First time there Fandango screwed me over i went and talked to the manager he was great, the drinks and popcorn were free along with the movie. It really made my whole day, outstanding service definitely 10/10 recommend!!!!
