This is a funky, tasty place! All the cocktails were tasty and well-balanced, and they have a unique pizza menu (especially the white pies!). The pizzas are personal pizzas with a thin bottom. We went on a Friday night and it was quite busy, we had to wait an hour for our pizzas.

Best pizza in Middletown!!! Like the name the focus is the pie crust, which was fluffy and tasty. Not quite New Haven style, but the underbelly had a good char. All in all pizza was delicious and satisfying. Highly recommend if you are in the area!

Great selection of whiskey, tequila, scotch. Pizza wood fired. Bar area nice. Great local spot.

I was lucky enough to get the buffalo trace antique lineup for a flight. This included WLW, Stagg, Van winkle 10 yr. and Pappy 12 yr. This was a serious treat. On top of that the pizza is amazing and they have great wings and cheesy bread. Excellent experience overall.

Great place for young people and the pizza enthusiasts! They have a book .... a book! Of whiskeys, burbouns,scotchs all kinds of dark liqour. Pizza was great also. For my taste though it was just a little wet/soupy in the middle but that's it other wise great blend of flavors and fresh ingredients. Try it out !

It's located in the heart of Middletown, right opposite Eli Cannon's. The pizzas are fresh and yummy! It's New Haven style pizza, thin crust and a characteristic charring. The service was quick and courteous. They have a long list of beers and cocktails available, however, I think they're famous for their humongous selection of whiskeys and whiskey cocktails. Definitely worth a visit!

Favorite pizza spot in Middletown. Middletown needs more businesses like this! Great atmosphere, delicious food and balanced drinks, all for a great price. Consistently get the sweet and spicy Roni, one of my faves!

Did a one time stop on a trip home. Great, yummy selection of pizza and cocktails. Pizza came very quick, which was great. The ambiance is neat, almost like someone was challenged to make a restaurant from plywood lol.

The pizza is to die for. Inventive combos, fresh crust, always made to order. Great mixed drinks (for those of us who don't know much about the 6 pages of the menu that are straight bourbon). Specials/sides are always inventive and delicious. We make excuses to visit Middletown justbso we can go to Krust.

Atmosphere and pizza variety are uniquely paired. Wood fired oven is right next to you at the bar. Service is five star, informative if you have menu queries and offer samples for beer and bourbon if you want try something new. Tried two pizzas and looking forward to another visit.

Krust is one of the best artisan pizza locations outside New Haven. This is really good pizza.

We typically go in a group of 4 or more and order various pies and share. I've enjoyed virtually every pie there that we've tried.

I’m really picky with my pizza, and food in general, and this place has some of the best pizza I’ve ever eaten! I don’t like the traditional pepperoni greasy family restaurant style pizza. I need my pizza to be non greasy, with tons of toppings, and flavorful - this checks all the boxes and more! Their appetizer menu is unfortunately a bit sparse (it’d be great if this place had wings). But the real star of the show is their pizza. It has a thin crust that is crispy on the outside but yet somehow magically chewy. They also have really good toppings and they allow you to split pizza flavors 1/2 and 1/2 on one pizza. First time I came here I had 1/2 sausage pizza and 1/2 mushroom arugula 😍🍕 next time I had 1/2 cheeseburger (it had a dill aioli, beef, and pickles - surprisingly tasty!) and once again the 1/2 mushroom arugula. They also have a decent local beer menu and the bourbon flights. They have a Nutella pizza too! - pricey for what it is but I enjoyed it too. They should also get more dessert options imo.

Went for the 1st time Saturday night and sorry I didn’t go here sooner. PIZZA WAS AMAZING, I ordered the Smoked and the Brussels I added bacon on this one. The flavor was amazing you could taste every ingredient on the pizza. Even the dill ranch dressing was delicious Im assuming its made in house. All the staff was very attentive, no matter who we asked for something we got it right away. Great place with great food. Definitely going back!

Was trying to eat and drink at a different bar across the street but they were at capacity. Went over to Krust and was not disappointed. The pizzas (Animal Style and Sunnyside) we got were fresh out of the brick oven, was able to sample a few beers to make sure I got one I liked. Such a great experience and will definitely be back.

AMAZING pizza, properly charred crust, locally sourced ingredients, extensive whiskey and bourbon collection. Inventive daily specials, try the ricotta gnudi, it will change your life. The dishes here are hitting way above their weight. This place is obviously a testing ground for greater things to come from the talented chef. You're getting far more than you pay for at krust, the experience is priceless.

The Pizza was absolutely excellent. The service was friendly and welcoming. The drinks were great. I highly recommend everyone check them out.

Bourbon bar with great thin crust pizza, what’s not to love? Great Manhattans, wide variety of interesting pizzas that aren’t too heavy. If you’re looking for a white pizza they have a ton of options. Interior is very cool, all unfinished wood, which is very unique.
