Most amazing place to chill. The nicest people you’ll ever meet in New Haven. The food is beyond wonderful and the drinks are breathtaking. The manager quan was very responsive and made me feel comfortable and the bartender Julie knew how to keep me entertained and happy. In all, it was an amazing experience. Definitely recommend going there.

Intimate dining area, great food, and delicious drinks - what more could you ask for? Definitely recommend a reservation for this place considering how small it is. The empanadas were spectacular. We got the three variety of empanadas and not one of the flavors was bad. For my main course I got the ropa vieja. SPECTACULAR. And the tres leches cake… in a league of its own. Go here immediately!

Love the restaurant I actually used to work here years ago. i landed the job when i created my short film called Marisol. It was amazing to use their restaurant to actually experience their culture. They took a lot of the good dishes off the menu. i was hoping to order the Polo moderno one of the very first dishes i ate when they gave me the opportunity to order whatever i wanted on the menu.But I'm guessing they took that off too but overall love it brings back so many memories.

Great little place. The food was excellent. I had the Cubano with a soup (black beans). Both tasted really good. My wife's ceviche was top notch as well, with a lot of seafood on it.
Very authentic.

Great meal. Everything was fresh, arrived in a timely manner, the waitress made sure we were taken care of without being intrusive. The atmosphere was cozy.

But most of all everything was delicious!

Jahnise was an excellent host! They greeted us and seated us right away. Immediately you are hit with the diverse flavors and colorful atmosphere of the restaurant. Plantains were amazing! One big thing to also note is that this place is POC run. It’s a staple of flavor, culture, representation, and food for the soul from love!

Chris was an awesome waiter. Super helpful with questions we had about the menu. Drinks were delicious. Kage tag teamed with Chris and was really nice and attentive. Overall great experience.

I love this place. Great food, seems authentic to me. They have happy hour and their drinks are tasty. Love potion 4 plus 5 is amazing . You sit down and order on your phone, I like that too. Makes everything super efficient. I will be back again. It’s a type of food I crave the most

I've been here so many times and every single time it was been amazing.

If you come here, there are two things you have to try - the regular mojito and the tres leches cake. I've had both on multiple occasions and the quality is always excellent.
Their mojito has spoiled me. I hate ordering mojitos anywhere else. It is the best mojito I have ever had and it is the standard by which I judge all other mojitos. And that cake! It is slap-yo-mama good. That's all I have to say.

On this occasion, we got the papa rellena for our appetizer. It's a potato croquette stuffed with seasoned ground beef. It came out piping hot and was very tasty.
For our entrees, I got the oxtail and my husband got the picadillo (ground beef). Both came with a side of rice, black beans, and fried plantains. They we're both very good. I love oxtail and this was cooked to perfection - extremely tender and falling off the bone. Both dishes were flavored beautifully.

The staff here are always nice, welcoming, and friendly.
It's a really small place but I didn't realize they take reservations. That's a nice thing if you want to make sure you can get in in a busy weekend night.

There's no doubt I'll be back. I love this place :-)

Delicious food and great drinks at really reasonable prices, especially if you go during happy hour. The default is to order and pay off ur mobile phone but if that isn’t your vibe you can just ask one of the friendly servers and they will definitely be happy to give you traditional table service.

I had a really nice time here. A small, cute place w very welcoming staff. I had chicken empanadas and honestly, they're going at the top of my list of "best empanadas I've ever had". Worth the drive :)

Great home style cooking. This hidden gem had it all. I had a coconut mojito and the food was to die for. My wife is from Florida and she has been craving good Cuban food. She said this by has been the best since Florida!
