Zero comminication. My MINOR child was appointed an attorney. Had one meeting where all he did was talk about the fact that I was upset. You think? Does not keep us as parents in the loop WHATSOEVER! I have called, emailed, been promised a response and I get absolutely nothing. Considering this is case involving a minor I should be included in everything. Absolutely terrible!

As with the other reviews, we are also experiencing no communication. The PD voice message ask that you not leave multiple messages due to the volume they receive. However, how long should you wait? I believe a week apart should be adequate. 3 weeks later and we have not received a return call. Not impressed.

I have never had any legal issues that warranted the need for an attorney up until now. I was appointed a P.D. by the judge back in April. I met him one time, for an omnious hearing, at which time I was told to contact their office to setup a time we could meet and discuss my case (as there has not been any conversation between us thus far). Since then, I have been contacting their office at least once a week to try and schedule a meeting. I am always sent to his voicemail and have never received a call back to date. My trial is in 2 1/2 weeks and I have vital information to present that the court does not yet have. I don' feel that this is an effective program, therefore I am giving a poor review. It saddens me that I have worked in this town all of my life- paying out taxes for the last 22 years, and now that I am in need of a service after all that time, I am unable to utilize it.

After being told my case was closed, I was arrested a year later, then told that the Public Defenders Office accidently closed my case. I asked them for proof that they closed my case and they refused. Be careful when using a public defender in Missoula. They are dishonest and don't own up to their mistakes. If anybody knows how to go about suing for dereliction please let me know!

Rarely return phone calls. Receptionist is .....rude... and hangs up on you when you ask to be transfered to someone.

Just spend the extra for an attorney communicating with these people is a joke been 3 weeks left several voicemails an still can't get a call back 😒

They like to hang up on people, or never answer the phone at all. They are all just there for pay checks. It is obvious
