La Luna Ristorante

My cousin wanted Lamb and crab cakes for her birthday but my sister did reserve the table at her favorite restaurant in time since it was mother's day weekend. My friend, had her husband's 50th party catered by the owner of La Luna and suggests that we eat there. It was excellent and our party of 5 enjoyed everything the food, services and atmosphere plus we made it there in time for mother's day specials! Prices was so great that we all had: soup, salad, 2 entrée, 2 dessert, and martinis! We all left full, satisfied, and with leftover!!! Can't wait to go back and enjoy a night when they have events like live bands and karaoke.

Food is A+/Superlative! The marinara sauce, mashed potatoes, and the garlic knots are the best I ever had.

What a classy, beautiful, festive atmosphere, and the live music, Fradiani, Tre Paul, and Valente Brothers are phenomenal. I especially love Fradiani's different genres of music. He's an A+/Superlative musician.

I was there Friday 2.15 and the restaurant is very lovely and the service was great and the food was tasty and you can taste the fresh ingredients, I had the minestrone soup and the penne a la vodka, I was very happy with the flavors and the large portions..I will definitely be returning..it was 2 for $35 for lunch 2 appetizers, soup or salad, 2 entress and 2 desserts so I didnt end up using my Groupon..Riesling wine was delish!

This restaurant has 3 separate areas - a room for private gatherings in the front, a bar and a dining area in the rear. Service was very good with a waiter who knew the menu well and made good recommendations. Salads are served with every entre and very fresh and tasty.
The blackened pan seared scallops with lobster risotto was excellent with a generous amount of lobster. The Pollo alla Marsala served with potato and vegetable was also excellent. Food portions were generous.

The restaurant has hanging LED blue lights which adds to the atmosphere. The wait time for our meals was reasonable and none of the people in our group of four had any problems with the food or the service.

We just hosted an event here and it could not have gone better! The staff, specifically Alma, was friendly and attentive. The food and drinks were great!

Wonderful atmosphere and amazing food. My wife and I dined in for dinner and enjoyed ourselves immensely. We both ordered seafood dishes and both of them were prepared absolutely perfectly. I ordered the scallop and lobster risotto and the entire dish was absolutely delicious! We finished up our dinner with two servings of tiramisu which were light, fluffy, and absolutely delicious as well.

We both agree that we would love to dine here again.

This was my first time here, and I will be returning and recommend others to eat here. The food was excellent, from the appetizers to the dessert. The lamb appetizers were perfectly cooked for well done and still had lots of flavor. Both entree dishes, the lobster tails, and the shrimp dish we ordered were delicious. The peanut butter cheese cake was the perfect amount of sweet.

My first time here and WOW!! The martini was delectable. I had the calamari fritti - top 3 that I've ever had in my 56 years. Tender beyond belief. Main corse was the Shrimp and Scallop Carbonata - absolutely delicious!! The server, Abead, so polite, attentive and professional beyond his years. Loved the big band music in the dining room.

Beautiful restaurant off the post road in Branford. Waitstaff is super friendly and the food is super delicious. Their garlic knots are honestly to die for as they are so buttery and full of flavor! I got the blackened scallops over lobster risotto. If you like spice that dish is definitely for you! My fiancé and I are using them for our rehearsal dinner because of how good our visit to them was. Highly recommend trying them out!

Very very nice place to eat for dinner. I recommend ladies night on Wednesday. I got the lobster linguini and Philly cheese steak rolls as well as my cheesecake all for 25 dollars. Loved all of it. Edgar is a great owner and knows the ins and outs of all the restaurant business. Go here for lunch/dinner or even brunch on Sundays.

Laluna catered and an event at our home yesterday and delivered it.
The food was AMAZING! Penne ala vodka , chicken parm , eggplant parm , green beans and roasted potatoes

I had a surprise 60th birthday party for my husband last night and had family and friends from out of town. There were 50 people attending.The food the staff the atmosphere was 5 star. Everyone complemented how amazing the food was and the staff was right on key. They will be coming to eat at your place in the future. Thank you for letting me bring in a DJ we love to dance and for you accommodating us with a dance floor. We will see you next week for dinner❤

So glad they reopened! My husband and I had a lovely dinner date. Good food and good service.

Garlic knots with chunks of fresh, lightly sauteed garlic and fresh pesto started us off. We split the Stuffed Sea Avocado, which had so much seafood that I had a problem finding the half avocado - which was pleasantly firm without being hard.

I had the crab cakes appetizer as my meal. Nice portion; I took home half. My husband's "Scallops Juliet" - scallops atop a bed of "lobster risotto" - had chunks, he said, of lobster. We ended the meal with a slice of Oreo mousse with two spoons.

Lovely restaurant, the service was good, our server was friendly and helpful. Our meal was wonderful 👍

La Luna Catered our wedding on January 10th of 2021. Everything looked and was absolutely amazing. Great food and great service. Thank you Edgar you are the man!

Food has been good each time I've been. Seems understaffed on event nights. Worth the wait.
