Meet Me Here Restaurant and Bar

Had a great time here last night! We enjoyed the calamari to start and I had the grilled salmon for dinner, and I cannot wait to go back just to have this again! Everyone enjoyed their meals, and service was kind and attentive as well (thank you, Gary!)

A place where locals meet and where the owner and staff knows your name and what your favorite dishes are.
Our usual waitress Sherry is one of the most kind, friendly and efficient person we've ever met.
The place is small, low key, unassuming but the food, atmosphere and service are beyond the expectations.
Reservations are a must.

The "Meet Me Here Burger" was fantastic. I tried the Polenta Fries because they looked interesting but didn't care for them. But you have to try new things. My wife had the "Braised Short Ribs"...Outstanding!

Stopped here for a New Year's lunch and I thoroughly enjoyed everything that I ordered. The lemon pepper salmon was not only amazing in flavor, but, aesthetically pleasing as well. Also, the Whiteout Martini was unbelievably good.

I entered wanting a good meal and a small drink and I was greeted and seated immediately and service was excellent.kristen served the food and I was blown away by both the FLAVOR and the wine. I HIGHLY recommend at least a d at to yourself. Or with a friend at meet me here restaurant. A+++

Short rib sandwich was excellent and the Mac & Cheese was the best we've ever had. The only thing better than the food was the service.

Cute place with an intimate atmosphere. Definitely great for a date night and the food was good!

Stopped in for an early date night dinner with my wife, had never been before walk in 2 too, about 5PM. A few other tables filled, booths all reserved. Very friendly staff, quaint and tight unless you can get a booth. Service was good, you can tell they have a long service staff as all the workers seem like good friends as well. Did not have any special cocktails or sample any of the specials, ordered from the regular menu. Drinks we did order were free poured and amply satisfying. Appetizers consisted of an order of roasted brussel sprouts with bacon and balsamic glaze and a risotto croquette with a truffle cream sauce; both excellent. The sprouts is a fairly large order so be prepared. Entrees were the Braised Short Rib with mashed, roasted carrots, and a phenomenal hot cherry pepper espagnole sauce that was to die for! Wife had the stuffed chicken with prosciutto, spinach, and burrata over a Parmesan risotto. A very nice dish albeit a bit “wedding fare like”, but overall flavorful. Dessert was a peach bourbon crumble that was quite enjoyable. Overall a great experience, prices were reasonable and will return but make a reservation for a booth next time. Thanks for a nice dinner.

My first time here and it was spectacular. I would highly recommend it to you. The food and service was great. There is something for everyone. I will be back!

I’m not sure how many times we’ve had dinner here, but each and every time, it’s wonderful! We started with the fried calamari with hot peppers and gorgonzola (it’s our go to appetizer). I had the stuffed chicken breast and it was so good! It is stuffed with spinach, prosciutto, and burrrata cheese, and it’s definitely overflowing. Half came home with me for lunch tomorrow. My husband had the filet, and you could cut it with a butter knife. He, however, did not have any leftovers. 🙂

We had the white chocolate cheesecake topped with strawberries for dessert, and it was wonderfully dense and more than enough for two.

If you are looking for an intimate restaurant that has great staff, Meet Me Here is the spot.

When my wife and I were coming home from Meet Me Here one night we were trying to figure out what was different. (No TV). If you want quiet time with exceptional food this is the place. We've gone back many times and there are a few things that make it stand out. If you split a plate it comes out of the kitchen with two awesome presentations. I you want a over the top cocktail this is the place. If you want awesome their best dinner order Shrimp and Scallop Florentine. The staff is very attentive (but not overboard) and the owner creates an awesome atmosphere for the quests and the staff.

Meet Me Here is my favorite special occasion restaurant in the area. The encrusted salmon and funny bone cake are the best. The wine list is awesome, and the staff are always gracious and attentive. Kudos to Sue and the gang for always turning out a top-notch experience. Pains me to see gross misrepresentations of this delightful restaurant here—the ladies of MMH are always a joy. Wish I still lived in the area so I could be a regular customer, what a privilege! :)

Me and my friend stopped at this place on the way back from a hike and originally we were unfamiliar with the area but we were able to stumble across this gem fortunately. I have eaten all around the world at some of the highest quality restaurants and have a great taste for good food, and let me tell you this place topped the list by far. Hands down the best food I ever had, and there Buffalo chicken wrap is amazing. Lovely people, and the chef is excellent at what he does. I will be back.

Absolutely amazing. Quality food! Ask for the frangelico sauce on the salmon and you won’t regret! The Alfredo is the best I’ve had (my kids ate more than they ever had) We have found it recently and we are obsessed. The staff is nice, the bread is warm and fresh, it’s a quiet and relaxed setting, the food is delicious, the drinks are great. I’d recommend! Thank you Meet Me Here! What a find

My wife and my Son We enjoyed a super dinner at Meet Me Here., Chicken wings was fabulous even my son had it 3,he’s 8yrs old. Chicken wings with amazing sauce.Beef burger 100% Fresh Soft and Crunchy.Great Service.Everything delicious.

On Saturday night my wife, Betsy and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at Meet Me Here after seeing your ad in Voices newspaper. Wow - what an exceptional experience! The service was great and the food - from appetizer to entree to dessert and coffee - was phenomenal!

Thank you for making our special night one to remember. We will be back - often.

My friend and I visit a different restaurant in Ct almost every week, other than the winter. We ate outside mostly do to the virus and inside if that was the only option. We ate at at least 35 places. I am a true foodie, have been since a child in NYC and still in my late 60's.
We were greeted by Olivia, who also waited on us. The lunch was a 5 in every sense, top notch my friend said, and I agreed.
Olivia was very sweet ,attentive and all around an asset to this place.
My compliments to the chef and the Easter decorations were very cool.
Michael and Vincent will be back for sure.
