Foote Memorial Park

This park had an upgrade in the summer of 2023 so that it now has a splash pad which is right next to the bathrooms and little kids playground. There is also a bigger playground for school aged kids on the other side of the bathrooms. In addition to kid facilities, they have tennis courts, baseball fields, and soccer fields. There is shade by the playgrounds and splash pad with some tables/benches in the shade. There’s also a cop on duty at the park. There’s plenty of free parking. No resident sticker required.

Perfect day at a beautiful park great place to really enjoy some quality time with your kids!

Beautiful and spacious. Plenty of parking. There's a splash pad, small playground, and a larger playground for older children. Walk the trails or just sit and look at the boats in the marina.

Great playgrounds for young toddlers and older kids. Plenty of open space for pickup games and nice paved paths for stroller walking y the water. Nice work Branford.

We went for a walk on the trail which is nice and flat, well paved. Nice view of the water and plenty of parking. Was a very cold windy day so didn't stay long just did the brisk walk!

Very picturesque Park. Well maintained & very neat. Great place for families,tennis courts,paved trail throughout the park,racket ball wall,basket ball court,3 softball fields ,swings,slides & jungle gym for the kids.

8 clay tennis courts and four hard courts that can be converted into eight Pickleball courts. There are eight Pickleball nets available. The park is free and located on the water. It has plenty of kids swings and new modern good quality playgrounds. The only thing missing is a dog park. There’s decent permanent bathrooms. There are few Chessboard on permanent cement chess tables in a covered space awesome for playing with friendly older locals around sunset at any sunny day.

So happy with the new renovations made to this wonderful park! My little boy loved it and I know he's looking forward to the next trip!

Amazing park, playground(s), and splash pad to bring the kids. The only problem for us is, it's only for Branford residents. This is a great halfway meeting spot for me and my parents to visit and see the grand kids, but it doesn't seem to be open for non-residents.

Great place to walk, beautiful harbor/river views and paths are all paved and basically flat, great place for people recovering or disabled. I use it after rain when more challenging trails might be muddy and slippery.

Nice park with a walking loop and lots of exercise/playing equipment around it. Looks like a park you would see Rocky working out at in a movie. Views of the marina, also has tennis courts, basketball, and the best playgrounds in Branford. Great in all seasons, better in the warmer months.

Great park with lots of things to do. Large playscape for older kids, newer playscape for younger along with a 12 tennis courts with pickle ball nets and lines marked. Bathrooms are open during spring and summer. Splash pad coming soon.

Beautiful & well maintained park. Great views. Walking paths, tennis courts, pickle ball, ball parks & water park for children. Bathrooms were clean & well maintained.

We had the best time at Foote park. We took our California family there for a visit. On a cloudy sprinkle of rain day, we still had a blast. The kids love the playground and the walking paths.

Smaller but lovely. Well maintained. I do the walking trail just about every morning except in snow. Last week I met up with a family of deer grazing by the walking trail loop! I love seeing the birds that nest in the adjacent salt marsh, it makes me happy.

Great family park all year long fun

This was my favorite park as a kid growing up in CT. We moved when I was 6 . Over the weekend I got to take my daughter there. Glad to see it's almost exactly the same over 23 yrs later. Looks like it has been well maintained. A lot of bees though.

Tennis courts were in good shape and had availability all 3 times we went!
