Pete was excellent from the start. He was very thorough in outlining a plan and helping me to understand the cost, pros, and cons of different installation options for our job. There is a good reason why Ferrer's has a 5 star rating. I needed my service mast replaced after a fallen tree ripped it off of my house the Friday night before a holiday weekend. Pete quickly responded to my email and even provided a quote based on a few pictures I sent him. He was able to get me on the schedule and sent Mike out to make the repairs. Mike was very professional and did great quality work even quicker than he estimated. By midday Tuesday everything was back in working order and better than before. I will definitely be going to Ferrer's next time I need an electrician.

If you have an electrical project of any size I would highly recomend Pete and his team. Communication the most important aspect to any project and Pete is ontop of his game. He is very responsive to emails and phone calls and let me know every step along the way of upgrading electrical service and installing standby generator. You can tell by talking to him and his guys that they are passionate about their craft and they went above and beyond to make sure everything went smooth. Even when some unforseen problems popped up they have the expirence and know how to navigate them and get the job done right! Ferrer's Electric and owner Pedro/Pete are phenomenal! My husband and I needed to have our recently purchased garage hooked to power as well as adding workspace lighting in our basement and running a line for a doorbell. Pete responded to my initial email promptly, made some suggestions and then came to visit my home. He listened to what we wanted which is so rare and then gave us his expert advice, a detailed quote and multiple options, including ways we could save some money by doing prep work ourselves which was truly appreciated. We chose him to do the work from all bidders because of his patience, attention to detail and responsiveness. Scheduling was quick and easy, work was done perfectly, the crew left the basement cleaner than they found it, 5 stars! When I had a related question 2 months later, I sent Pete an email about some follow up work, he again gave solid advice and lent his expertise at no charge. He and his crew are the BEST and I recommend them highly, ask him for a quote so you can learn for yourself, you won't regret it!

Ferrer's Electric was the best choice I made after we bought our house. They were responsive and very helpful with all of my planning and part choices. I had a transfer switch installed for my generator hook up and this entire process was effortless. Adam came out and quickly, but efficiently installed everything and educated us on how to use it. I will gladly be using them in the future for all of my electrical needs.

At the initial inquiry, I will admit, I was skeptical. After calling, Pete reached out and asked me to email him. I thought "here we go, into the email abyss and I will never hear from them again". BUT, his responses were great - averaged less than 30 minutes - and very thorough. He answered all of my questions patiently and promptly. In the end, I found the process very efficient

He gave me a quote range which included the variables - cables/wires, any complexities, etc., He also was able to work me in within about a week of my initial inquiry and about a day or so before, gave me a time range his electrician would be there.They arrived promptly at the earlier end of the time estimate.

We talked about what I needed done, the location, the circuits I needed, etc.,. And, his electrician gave me some recommendations on some additional circuits to wire in, which I agreed to. The job took about 3 hours and during it, he confirmed a couple of details as well as asked me if he could make some adjustments - things like, the location of the switch, etc.,. In my book, not that big of a deal, but I appreciate him asking just the same.

After the job was completed, he walked me through the set-up, the circuits, how to operate, etc.,.

The price was right in the middle of his estimate - including tax - mainly because I changed the location of the plug which necessitated a longer cable.

All in all, very well done job and very professional and courteous service.

Oh, and the electrician kept his mask on the entire time he was in our basement doing the work. Again, very professional and courteous.

Having built our home in Watertown CT a few years ago, and having a negative experience with our contractors, we were very weary of getting this work done.
Well, Pete and his team provided a dynamically different experience for us. From the initial quote, to the work performed, to the follow on communication post work, I can honestly say that this was one of the best experiences we have ever had. What initially impressed me about Ferrer's was how quickly and thoroughly they responded to my questions (I had A LOT of them!).

I highly recommend Ferrrer's Electric. I have know Pete for several years and he has completed work on several of my properties over those years. Everything from outside lighting, minor electrical repairs, upgrading panel service, replacing old knob and tube wiring and installing various lighting throughout the house. Pete and his crew (Mike and Adam) are very professional, courteous, on time and hard working. They do what it takes to get the job done right. And, when they are finished, they do a great job of clean up. This crew really cares about doing the job right and customer satisfaction. The very best around in my opinion.

We moved from Westchester County to Southbury a couple months ago. Completely anxious about moving and getting our expensive electronics up and installed again seemed like a nightmare. And it was!!! I called Ferrer's Electric based on their great online review. They did not disappoint. Pete and his guys Mike and Adam did a great job coming in and installing our surround sound and wiring up our electronics including mounting multiple TVs very cleanly with all the wiring behind the walls. They were careful in handling all the details without rushing through the process for the sake of getting the job done. The project took longer than we expected only because they were being thorough and in the end everything was meticulously done to our satisfaction. Pete is very responsive and he is definitely my GO TO GUY from here on out for all and any electrical work in my house. In fact he is already recruited for a second and third project at our location.
Highly recommend Ferrer's Electric!

We own a large home in CT that has unfortunately fallen victim to several lightning strikes. The problems we most recently had were complex, and the electrician who wired the home when it was built new in 2015 couldn't figure out the issue in two attempts. Finally I connected with Ferrer's. I cannot begin to describe how appreciative I am, first and foremost, of their communication style. Thorough, frequent, timely. That makes a huge difference as we live busy lives and I'm frankly exasperated at having to chase down vendors. Ferrer's was a pleasure to work with. Then, there is the expertise. These guys came as planned, on time, and within a few hours were able to diagnose the problem. They scheduled a follow-up for the actual repair work, and the crews showed up promptly and on time, and spent an entire day (including in the rain) digging a trench to lay down new wire to bypass the lightning-fried/shorted wires, and so much more. I almost never take the time to write reviews, but this is first class business in a first class way and we cannot thank Pete and his crews enough. This problem has been around for 9 months and finally Ferrer's came to our rescue. Let there be light!

Used Ferrer's Electric for a kitchen remodel, based on recommendations on local Facebook groups. Work involved moving appliance feeds, new/rework on lighting, few new circuits, cabinet lights, etc. Pete worked with my budget, provided good options and estimates. Kept in constant contact for suggestions on items to use and scheduling around my work and other contractors, quick to respond to emails and provide much more info than expected. The same crew did the detailed estimate, and 2 rounds of work for rough-in and final. Friendly guys, confirming what they were doing, always hustling along! Careful work, little mess, thorough cleanup. Extremely happy with their work and will be using them in the future!

It’s so hard to find knowledgeable, hardworking contractors out there, and Pete has always exceeded my expectations. Every, single, time. Pete recently installed a Generlink direct generator hook-up. I had issues trying to get an electrician to even call back. Not only did Pete call back promptly, but emailed me a proposal right after I sent pictures of meter and circuit breakers advising me of what type to get. We made the appt to install, and he was 10 minutes early...took less then 30 minutes to install and left everything clean. Extremely satisfied, .....I deal with numerous contractors in my line of work, and Pete is a true professional. I highly recommend him and look forward to future projects with him.

I usually hate dealing with contractors, most of them play games, don't show up when they say they will and cut corners. Pete and the rest of Ferrer's staff (Mike and Brian) are different, they are the best contractors I have ever dealt with. They are competent, pleasant, they work hard and consistently show up and do what they say they are going to do. Their pricing is fair and they stick to their quotes. When wiring my basement I found them to be absolutely trustworthy, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I highly recommend Ferrer's Electric for all electrical services. I have used Pete and his team for many projects including, generator procurement and install, electric car charger install, shed light install (and trenching), and many light fixture installs. They are always responsive, professional and often make suggestions that I had not considered. If you are looking for an electrician and you do not give Pete a call, you're doing yourself and your project a disservice.

I called Tuesday for an estimate for a 30 amp exterior circuit to charge my RV batteries. By Tuesday afternoon, Pete and I reviewed necessary parts and labor costs and agreed on a final price for the job. Mike came on Thursday morning to do the work and was finished by noon. I was happy with the price of the job as well as the quality of the work performed.

Without question, Ferrer's Electric is my electrician for the future.

Ferrer's Electric recently completed the electrical work for our bathroom remodel as well as installing a exhaust fan in a separate bathroom and replacing a hall chandelier.
