I have NO idea why it took so long to find this little gem! Pancakes are huge! The menu is simple diner food. Which is why they've been in business for so many years. It's done well! Definitely coming back and recommend you try this hidden gem.
Definitely not a greasy spoon diner. All the dishes coming out of the kitchen looked great. Can't wait to try more.
Prices are great for what you get.

I went with my son for bkfst. First time there in many years. It was nice and friendly. Staff was great. Food was great. Son loved it and wants to return. He wants to go for lunch since he wants chicken fingers. Lol

Real nice hidden spot, breakfast was really good and on point. Would be a go to spot from now on.

This place is for sure a hidden gem...A small little mom & pop place that has been around a long time...They are open for breakfast & lunch...6a-2p mon-saturday & 6a-1p on Sunday. I had a grilled ham cheese and tomato and a cup of tomato soup...it was maybe 8 bucks and delicious...a value meal from McDonald's costs more...idk how they keep everything so affordable, but im glad they do...Give them a try...help keep this place going...

I have had breakfast here a few times. I have gotten the Western Omelets as well as their two eggs, toast, home fries breakfast combos. The service is quick, the food is delicious, and everybody there is courteous.

Wonderful restaurant with fantastic food and excellent service. I got pancakes and they are literally the size of a dinner plate and delicious! My friend had the chili and she said that it was the best that she has EVER had. I highly recommend this restaurant!!

The chocolate chip pancakes are delicious and bigger than the plate they served them on!!! So light and fluffy with the perfect amount of chocolate chips! Server was friendly and attentive. They're doing indoor and outdoor dining according to state mandates so everyone will be safe!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND, ESPECIALLY THE PANCAKES!!

They are very friendly. Good decent people. Great atmosphere and homey environment. They plan trips to the casino for the neighborhood. They have great breakfast food. The prices are great. Have not had lunch there but I know alot people that live it there. They make you feel like your going home to visit and to enjoy a good meal and friendly conversation. I strongly recommend that people must visit, it will surely be a repeat place where you bring your friends and family. They know you by name. GREAT PLACE to VISIT and have a GREAT MEAL

Move to townplot from NYC 1 year ago saw this nice place... an said to my self gotto served good breakfast there.... ive being coming here since the food is delicious breakfast my favorite.. love the homefries.. and huge pancake. Havent disappoint... recommend...

I really was in the mood for a nice low key place where I could sit and chat over a coffee and maybe grab a bite. I was glad my friend, a former employee, suggested monteiros! I ended up grabbing a bit of food. it was nice and quiet in there cuz it was just after lunch. I was able to relax and enjoy myself with my girl, and the owner and the waitress on staff both talked to us, and I still got my order very quick. It seems like a great place! Every person that came in was known, and greeted sweetly. What a nice atmosphere, id love to work here!! Seems to be a decent group of people, and the clientele seem like they are all good hard working folks. Reminds me of cheers, where everybody knows your name 😊
Food was great, not as greasy as you would expect from a diner.
A great little neighborhood place in town plot. Can't get any better than this.
