Great playground to spend time with kid! Farmington canal nearby makes it easy to came by bike!

A beautiful park that is spacious, green & clean, teeming with activity, and small events like picnics are frequently held here! It's a great place in a quiet & safe neighborhood, and it's easy to get to from down, being such a short walk away!

Nice walking/bike path

It's the most fun place that I've been to in years. This park has everything that a person or a family could possibly want, need and ask for. It's a great location and there's so much to do there. You can't possibly go stressed out and still leave still stressing; it's that fun and profound of a place. I'd recommend this park to EVERYONE!!!😁😁🤗😄

Nice place to go with your kids. Very safe.

Great park for older and younger kids. There is a water feature that even my 1yo loved. There are swings for toddlers and a separate little kid playground with the rubberized flooring. There are two basketball courts and a baseball diamond (but I have never seen the baseball field used). The parking isn't great, but it is off the Farminton Canal trail and is great to run, bike or walk to. This is one of my favorite family parks in New Haven. Also, there is a water fountain and portable toilets (those aren't so great). I go to this park alone and with my family.

Scantlebury Park is a very nice park it's in walking distance to neighborhoods. It's spacious, safe for adults and kids. Peaceful, people you come in contact with make you feel like you known them for years. Scantlebury Park you can just go there chill looking around enjoying the scene.

Such a lovely park! The pickleball courts are great, always folks at the skate park, and overall a really nice atmosphere. Tax payer money being well used.

Super nice park . it includes grills, gated kids park, big park, basketball court & water park. Has lots of space so 6 feet isn't a problem.

This is a fun place to run through the fountains, grill outside, shoot hoops, catch the Farmington Canal, skateboard, play soccer, or do free yoga. So happy this is in the neighborhood!

I don't have small children to bring cause my boy's are grown...lol but will visit in the future with my niece and nephews

All the kids love it here have a splash pad and a basketball court and a good play ground for the lil ones.

FIRST of All before it became Scantlebury Park it's was my old School St Martin only Catholic school in Elm CITY district so not only did I attended the school but my whole family did as well as the Church St Martin, Under the Leadership of Father Elko one of the living pioneers of the church for over 50 years so I believe not only is the Park BLESS but it's a milestone for the community it's the Home of Ashmun Street Reunion when we all come together in LOVE one of the biggest Event that take place yearly that allows us to all Reunite and reminisce on the old day of us all growing up in the ELM CITY High-rise & Low-rise so I'm grateful for the Park as well as other milestones we can never forget the Elk Club & the Dixwell Q - House thay where it All started at so I'm just so bless for my brother & sister that grew up in the community and let not never forget all of our four runner who pave the way

Great park with big splashpad, toddler playground, bigger kid playground, picnic tables and grills, and basketball courts.

Open space to run. Plenty of good playground equipment for all ages. Right across from New Haven Reads. And right next to the Canal Trail.
