Giulio's Pizza Restaurant

You need to check them out. We started with some pasta fagiolo. It almost tasted like my mom’s. So good. We then had the eggplant stack. OMG So good! Then ordered a pizza. Half peppers & sausage and half broccoli rabe & sausage. It was so good. I will definitely go back!

First, let me address some of the previous reviews. The restaurant industry took a devastating hit on March 2020 (covid-19) when LITERALLY the entire planet shut down. Since then the recovery in this industry on a good day is basically nonexistent. Now we have inflation..
How so many inconsiderate people bash anyone who was lucky enough to survive, when so many Chef's lost their dreams, is absolutely ridiculous and immature. Let me say this so everyone in the back can hear... THE PROBLEM IS YOU. Grow up.

Now, back to the scheduled program.

Pulled up to the restaurant not sure what to think. Every time I see an eatery as part of a plaza I immediately get questionable. A few gentlemen standing up front telling jokes and laughing. When I walked by they were very polite. Outside atmosphere definitely passed the test.

Walked inside and thought is was a fun little place with nice decor. Without a word being said I asked the ladies behind the counter, "sit wherever I want to?" and they confirmed. I laughed inside because we do the same over at my place. To have such a thoughtless freedom by choice is wonderful.

The corner suited me best so I could take pics/video from the angle that suited me well. Next I looked at the time to see how long it would take to get a server to the table. Not 10 seconds later the drink orders were in. Food came to follow moments later. The waitress was young, and from my experience I expected minor mistakes. Ps. She did a wonderful job all around.

The steak and cheese egg rolls were amazing. I dipping cheese sauce would've put them over the edge to phenomenal, but that's just the inner foodie talking in me.

Fries I get judgy about. Not hard to cook, but when you consider them done. I prefer light golden crisp on the outside, and the delicious mush taste in the middle. Not over salted either. I tip my heat the the Chef for perfection.

The chicken parm meal was basically ordered deconstructed. For those who don't know what that is, it's when you take all the ingredients to a meal and serve them individually on a plate. Not the chicken had a dipping sauce, and hold the mozzarella. Chicken was cooked perfectly at 165 degrees.

I'm huge on lasagna, so even a little off and the stars count will drop quickly. It was so delicious I only ate half so I could enjoy more later on. Side salad was swanye. I questioned the bowl at first, and then realized the useful purpose while eating it.

The decor was very nice for a pizza restaurant. I actually heard compliments from another table. After a short period of time I was in full discussion with them that lasted until I left.

The atmosphere is like home away from home. North Haven residents have a bond like no other, and it shined bright this evening. Come to find out two of an eight top knew and remembered my parents from 35 years ago. Footnote: I took pictures of their food because it came out like a four star restaurant and I was blown away by the Chef's skill set.

To top it off dessert was absolutely phenomenal!!! I'm not a the type to eat cake, but that particular one made me want a lot more.

Located minutes off I-91, exit 9. I will most definitely be returning, and highly recommend everyone swing by and give them a try. I didn't become a top reviewer (currently 8 stars) because I listened to others complain. Anyone who follows me and my reviews knows that.

Food is always delicious. Favorite place to get pizza. Had a party here today and everything was wonderful. Guests loved it as well!

We love Giulio's Pizza and food!!! They have been open about 20 years or more and we always enjoyed the food.
Our favorite is the pizza as we like thin crusted pizza. You can have it delivered or you can pick it up and have a drink at the bar while you wait. It's a great place for food, parking and socializing. Enjoy!

What can I say? If you have a special night out planned or a party in need of authentic Italian food this is your place to go to. I recently had a birthday party event for my wife and the food was catered by Giulio’s. Outstanding service and the food was wonderful.

This is a wonderful place to eat. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant is very clean. The food was wonderful! I would recommend it to anyone looking for excellent Italian food.

Our only issue is it’s not the fastest service. We stopped In because this place is always busy and has been one of our favorites. The Food is excellent. We take our family out to dinner here and really enjoyed our meal great Italian food the way it should be made with quality ingredients!! We frequently dine out we ordered fried Calamari stuffed clams very good, kids had pizza nice thin and just the right garlic flavor My husband ordered lagsana really enjoyed our dinner here.waitress nice and friendly, nearby bar area.The fresh white clams was outstanding and amout was huge enough for enjoying tomorrow-nice job Giulio's Pizza and Restaurant! Clean and a A Rating keep up the great job.
July 21, 2017 "Update: We realized in the car later we never got our Salads with our dinners after our appetizer " supposed to be given with our dinners!!!I So I subtracted a star for that!

What a hidden gem in North Haven! I ordered pizza from them for the first time yesterday (via GrubHub). First, when the pizza arrived, it was still too hot to eat..a good thing! The order actually came early, and the driver did the no contact delivery that I requested. I ordered a medium cheese pizza with extra cheese and mozzarella sticks. Both were delicious. This place knows what extra cheese means!! The pizza crust was nice and thin, and the pizza was cooked perfectly.
The marinara sauce with the mozzarella sticks must be homemade. It was so good.

My only complaint is that I didn't find Giulio's until now☺.

Absolutely delicious! Real, fresh mozzarella - it almost felt like it was made that morning. The sandwich I had was made with care and quality ingredients. The fries were straight out of the fryer - crispy and crunchy with a great texture. I highly recommend this spot!

We are so fortunate to have Giulios in our immediate Neighborhood! We have been Customers for over 20 Years and for Good Reason... Every Dish, Pizza, Sandwich or Appetizer is made with Pride and Customer Care! God Bless these People and All their Employees!

Awesome tomahawk rib-eye steak. Great menu. Highly recommend

This place should have 5 stars!. Always able to make whatever we want, tonight we wanted papperdel pasta with shrimp alfredo, it's not on the menu online but a nice man answered the phone and will make it!! Food is always fresh and consistent too.

This is a wonderful place to have authentic Italian food, relax and/or host a party. I've been coming to Giulio's for 22 years and really enjoy the delicious pizza and many bountiful lunch and dinner selections. I have also hosted at least 3 parties here (graduations and post wedding celebrations). Giulio and Lena are gracious hosts who know how to make you feel like part of the family.

We moved to north haven a couple of months ago and have tried just about every pizza place and this is bar none the best. Not only do my wife and I love it, but this is the only pizza place that my one year old son will finish a whole slice from.

Great service at the bar. Jose always takes great care to provide us food and drinks without having a long wait. Food is delicious.

My experience was great. Pizza was delicious. The young lady who waited on us was very friendly . Would definitely give Giulios Pizza 5 stars.

Really enjoyed the sicillian pizza. The quality of the ingredients is apparent. Whatever brand anchovies they are using are perfect for pizza. Can't reiterate enough how nice my lunch was.

Good pizza. Nice eat in restaurant as well. They deliver and prices are very good
