Marco Polo Pizzeria & Italian Restaurant

This place is my go-to! Their pizza is one of the best in New Haven. Food is fresh. Portions are big. Highly recommended!

Looking for food after a night at the toads place and came across this gem. Food was so good. Had the shrimp Cajun pasta and it was so satisfying. Salad delicious and calamari good. Not the biggest fan of the NY style tho. Garlic balls where fresh at 11 at night.

We always call the restaurant for their personal delivery. Dont call Door Dash or Uber Eats. You'll be disappointed! Delivery driver is quick, kind ,and efficient (he appreciated any tips we gave him). The pizzas were fantastic! We got shrimp pesto pizza. Shrimp was large & so fresh! We also tried their Sicillian pizza (my hubbys go-to favorite). He said it was amazing. I also got a Caprese Salad. The basil was so fresh and delishious that I ordered it with extra basil & and shrimp the next time. It was not a mistake, it was fantastic. Woman answering the phone seemed a bit rude the first time, but I've become really enjoy her "sweetheart." Their whole family seems like friends of our family now. Everything arrives very hot and fresh. Subs are not great, but we come for the pizza & bread knots. Never Dissappoints. Thank you Marco Polo!!

I tried Sally's and Frank Pepe's... unimpressed. Marco Polo blows them out of the water, but maybe I just prefer New York style. Service was friendly and fast, and best of all--they sell by the slice. Don't bother waiting two hours for burnt apizza when this gem exists.

I had a pizza slice with Mushrooms. It was heated well and a little crispy which I liked. It didn't have enough sauce. I would have liked it with just a little more sauce. I loved the taste of the sauce.

I stopped at Marco polo to have a quick bite with my wife. We ordered the Calzone and the insalta caprese Salad. It was delicious and the prices. The shrimp was fresh and the Calzone’s stuffing was amazing.

I had the Cajun shrimp Alfredo and it was perfect well done…I’m a pasta lover and needed a new place to try and I’m glad I chose them.

Pizza is delicious , and staff is friendly, but after the club they don’t let anyone use the bathroom, which is really unfair for paying customers. Please let people use the bathrooms when your business is open.

Simple restaurant, decent food, fair price. I like their pepperoni pizza delivery was always fast.

My friend took me to MARCO POLA for lunch. The food was delicious, very tasty. The music was beautiful. We were amazed.We would definitely recommend this place.If you want to eat a great pizza, you should definitely go. We wish success will continue.

We stopped in overnight and needed a pizza place within walking distance. We got there at about 8:30 on a Sunday night. No one was inside but ordered our food at the register and about 10 minutes later had her Pizza. We just got a medium supreme, but it was perfect. Exactly what we were looking for, then, crispy, and really hot. They also have gluten free pizza for anyone that cares. It's about $1.50 to $2 more

A palace among the dark. One of the few places that stays open past dusk. They offer fair prices for the food they offer. The seating arrangements were enough to feel relaxed.

I am on a business trip and I was trying find a place to get food from, I found Marco Polo on google maps and tried the Chicken bacon ranch pizza is amazing. It worthed the walk from the hotel while its light raining. Staff were very polite and helpful. The order got ready in few minutes.

I gotta say I went in right before close and I expected somewhat of an annoyance from them. They weren't even close. They were friendly and professional. They sandwich I got was great. AND (!!) They are open fairly late.

Stopped in with my brother for a quick few slices each. And it was a great experience. We were treated just as well as a group coming in to spend a lot more and have a full dinner. I’ve been to almost all new haven Za spots and this one definitely ranks in the top 5

Literally the best pizza in CT there's no exaggeration. They have many other dishes but pizza is my favorite. I come here with my family every now and then and definitely when craving something delicious. They have any kind of pizza u can think of for a great price and an amazing flavor

I ordered a gluten free pizza and it was perfect. They definitely don't skimp on toppings. Delicious. Plus they have pineapple as an option and not everyone does out here on the east coast. I should've taken a picture it was seriously loaded.
