Cappetta's Italian Imports and Pizza

Amazing place! I was able to put in an order all the way from the South to my Grandmother in CT for her birthday thanks to their team! I was able to place the delivery on the GrubHub app! So awesome! Thank you for making her a delicious pizza for her birthday & bringing to her when I was unable to ! :)

I go there whenever im in new haven..The best subs.the bread is fresh and stuffed with whatever your heart desires. By the way they use boars head.And they dont skimp on the meat like some other deli's. You wanna great sub go to Capellas and get your money's worthyou will think me.and them.

Stopped by to get an Italian combo sub. Was very happy with the results.

An old school Italian deli & pizzeria with amazing high quality food. Stagg are very nice too. Value for your dollar, which is rare nowadays.

Definitely the best pizza in West Haven that delivers.

They definitely make the biggest, the extra large party size 30" pizza is hilariously ridiculous.

My coworker has Celiac's and says their gluten free crust is the best around too, she drives from Oxford to get it.

This place is a staple for delis in west haven if u like fresh Italian homemade food and pizza this is a great destination for lunch ,with an incredible menu and fantastic sandwiches this is a must even for like office call in or small parties this food will b a hit. This I guarantee just 2 blocks from the old theater on forest Ave. Head towards congress Ave or the boulevard it's 2 blocks down on the right thier lunch can get busy always best to call ìn or go online to see what specials they have and the selections they have. Definitely a great place to eat I gave it a 5 star rating bc u can tell the definition of fresh and stale ,I gave it a 4 star for service just bc when u went thier was 7 people in front of me ,and a 3 on atmosphere bc there isn't really a place to eat inside ,but otherwise a fantastic array of fresh Italian homemade dishes and sandwiches they also have 2 frozen ,and a fresh made salads and homemade pastas they sell as well as roasted peppers garlic ,anchovies so go support Your Eats ,also if u enjoy my write ups please send me a good share comment ,with that being said get out and enjoy what ct has to offer

As far as alot of my favorite places to eat as for a quick lunch this definitely ranks in my top 10 it's a fantastic deli /Italian eatery and store they offer quite a big menu with awesome homemade pasta and as well as homemade pastas u can buy in thier open bay refrigerators .I like certain things and I usually rank places on hot lunches like chicken parm and how they make em the sauce they use as well as the bread and the freshness of how the sandwich tastes ,I grew up in a house where my step father did 95 percent of all the cooking ,he is a 100 percent Italian and was a fantastic cook growing up and got to taste alot of different Italian American cooking ,with that said this deli /store has some really good fresh tasting pizza and subs I've only been thier a few times and each of those times I wanted to taste the menu as we say and everything I ordered including thier pizza 🍕 is excellent so as there isn't really a place to eat inside ,it's Def better to call ahead and place an order and pick up and find a place near by to stop and monge as my step would say Def a must try place 2 blocks north of the old forest theater that was sadly removed from this earth in any case if u find my reviews full of good info ,and they help u out in anyway pls stop back and give me a like a quick comment and a quick message if would Def make my day if someone likes and shares my reviews. Chicken Parm and their take home stuffed shells and Manicotti was all VERY GOOD!!

Seriously the best sub place I have ever tasted. Their stuffed bread is to kill for. Everything is absolutely delicious.

Subs are really classic Italian American that you can only find in the tri-state area! Apizza is amazing, touch pricey but they can command gourmet prices with their quality. Never a messed up order. Never a wait. Never a bad meal. Highly recommend.

Only one I could find in West Haven. Real Italian deli. Just the way things used to be. Friendly helpful and lots of homemade goodness. Can't wait for lean roast best on a hard roll.

Great family owned business. We order every Friday night and sometimes more if we are busy. The pizza is amazing and all of the food is great quality and is authentic Italian food. If you do pick up they have a small store with pies,sauce, pasta and many other things to buy. The staff are always so friendly and you can see they all take pride making sure you get the best service and food. I have not had one "bad" meal or pizza from them. To top it off you are supporting a small business that cares about the customers.

Have tried it twice now and everything has been great. Stuffed Bread was excellent and loaded with ingredients and subs were made on real Italian bread and loaded with ingredients…try the Steak Bomber! Also impressed with the Italian Tuna Salad and Pasta Fagioli Soup. Looking forward to trying their dinners and pizza…we’ll be back…👍

We just had our food delivered from Cappettas for the first time and it was 5 star all around. We received a gift certificate that we had no way of using online. They went above and beyond by allowing us to use it over the phone.On top of their amazing customer service, the food was honest to god the best italian food ive ever had in my life. They absolutely just got a new returning customer from now on!

Normally there's a trade-off with quality if you would like your food delivered, but not with Cappetta's. They never skimp on toppings and the food is always hot and oh-so-good. You do have to wait for your delivery - they usually quote an hour, but it is WELL worth the wait. I just call my order in early and I've never had a complaint. I highly recommend you give them a try.
