Park Avenue Bakery

This place is phenomenal. The coffee is good, the bread is great, but I've never had legit patisserie before and it is as incredible as it looks.

While in Helena for work, we found ourselves inside this bakery. It has a relaxing atmosphere, wonderful aromas and amazingly kind and knowledgeable staff. I just wish I had gotten there earlier and remembered to take pictures of the second batch of 4 we had picked up. If you find yourself in Helena, I'd definitely try this place out.

I love this bakery. Every order has been delicious and beautiful. This order for my girl scout troop was almost too lovely to eat! The staff are always friendly and so helpful!

What an awesome bakery! We got the tres leches and the early grey triangle. Both were phenomenal! Super moist and incredibly flavorful! Will 100% come back here when I’m back in town!

Melanie made our wedding cake and we got some other selected desserts for the wedding. I had a very specific idea of the flavor I wanted for the wedding cake and I put together a collection of photos I liked. Melanie was a pleasure to work with and executed the flavor (brown butter with caramel) perfectly. We’d specifically asked for frosting that wasn’t too thick or sweet and she made a wonderful buttercream that went amazingly with the rest of the cake.

Unfortunately my husband I didn’t have a chance to eat much of the cake - we were not prompted to cut the cake as planned so it was after 9:30PM before we remembered the cake. All the plates were then cleared before people even finished eating so I ended up only getting a few bites before it was gone. We were heartbroken and didn’t get to keep any, but figured that’s just the way weddings go. I sent some photos of the cake to Melanie so she could see it with the flowers on and told her everyone loved it but we didn’t get to eat more than a few bites and she offered to make us a little cake of the same flavor so we could actually enjoy it. We got the little cake this weekend and it’s perfect.

We were so happy with the cupcakes and mini chocolate Earl Grey desserts that we got and the guests loved everything. The process of taste testing the cakes was amazing as well; they were very generous with the samples and even gave us some coffees and baked goods to take home that day free of charge. Overall very happy with our experience and would definitely recommend!

We absolutely have to go back! We went a little later in the day and stuff was sold out, which just tells me I gotta get there earlier next time. We did get a few treats, and what we got was delicious. My wife got a drink and enjoyed it. We saw the fresh bread as we were checking out. Can’t wait to come by again

The monster cookie was like an orgasm in your mouth, one of the best I've ever had!! The lavender one was dainty and made me feel princess like and the chocolate cake thing was so rich and yummy. Definitely going back. We also got a Loaf of day old bread and my boyfriend is in live with it. Lol

Bakery was busy and smelled amazing!
Definitely would be a great place to go and hang out for a bit and listen to the hum and read a book.
Bread also tasted amazing and was reasonably priced. If your in the Helena area you should check it out as it is a classic!

Melanie and her team did an amazing job creating a beautiful & delicious wedding cake for our guests. Outstanding service from beginning to end.

We are visiting from Arizona and I was craving fresh hot bread,.when we stopped in they were taking bagets right out of the oven! I was allowed to buy one right away and spread butter on it. I ate some immediately and it was more than I could have asked for. Thank you!!

I had a dessert with hazelnut, and it was absolutely amazing. The Americano was good, and we enjoyed the atmosphere. Took a loaf of the jalapeño cheddar bread home, and I can’t believe how good it is. We made grilled sandwiches from it and holy cow it’s amazing.

The 1 star person was having a bad day. This place is the bomb. Lovely coffee, fantastic pastries and the croissants with ham or sausage are worth buying and taking for your lunch. Also the basket of day old bread is deceiving, because it is heavenly, not what you would expect for day old. Love this place. I go to it every time I visit Helena, always a line and always perfect!!! get there early for the best pickins.

This review is way overdue but I would recommend this place.

I hired them for my wedding back in 2020. Our theme was board games so we told them our favorite one, One Night Ultimate Werewolf. We ordered a small cake and enough cupcakes for all our possible guests. We thought that would be easier then trying to get them to finish one large cake. The flavors were a berry with white cake, coffee with chocolate cake, and Earl Grey. By the end of the night, all the Earl Grey ones were gone. No one touched the main cake (which was also berry) but that was probably our fault since we didn't cut into it. It's possible no one wanted to ruin it cause it turned out so great.

Great bread, but need to get there early if you want more options

Love this community so much. I work at St.Peter’s, and Park Avenue brought us all different sandwiches, chips, drinks and cookies!!! I feel beyond blessed! The sandwich was delicious (I can never make mine look or taste the way there’s do!) the cookie was incredible and who doesn’t like apple juice 🥰 thank you for your kind gesture! Thought I’d return it with an honest review ♥

Had the earl grey chocolate cake. It was seriously delicious. We also got the lemon delight and it was very delicious as well. I recommend it.

Something great is going on in Helena, MT, and it's happening right here. I was not expecting to find a bakery of this caliber in a small Montana town. We did breakfast here all three of our days in Helena, and, quite honestly, I would give up a first born child to have a bakery like this where I live. The croissants are super fluffy and soft with rich buttery crisp on the outside. Awesome baguettes, all the pastries we tried were rich, decadent and yummy. Top notch coffee that is roasted in Montana. The service was warm and welcoming every morning. Truly a privilege to have found this exceptional and delightful bakery!

Moved from Helena several years ago so I was delighted to find this little jewel of a bakery still working their craft of artisan baked goods.
And now I pause from writing this review to reflect up on the goodness of their earl gray chocolate cake. (*pauses to wipe drool from chin*)
Best. Cake. Ever. Expensive? ($7 for a slice of said cake.) Oh yes. But quality ain't cheap, as you know.
The environment is delightful and well, here's TMI- the bathroom is absolutely lovely too. I could almost want to hang out in there but yeah, that would be a little weird.

Words cannot describe this quaint bakery. I live in Great Falls and make it a point at leat once a year to get something from here. Very worth the trip, money, experience, etc!
