Amazing selection of plants and fish that helped build my tank. Paul is very knowledgeable and helped me answer some questions I couldn’t find answers to on line. Helpful staff, good prices on rocks for building a scape for any tank. Also like a miniature zoo! Incredible reptiles that are rare and healthy! I definitely recommend coming if you want to have a happy and healthy animal friend :)

Went there the other day and was very impressed by the selection. Store was super clean, and staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Bought two iguanas and will gladly return again.

This store always has what you need. If there is something that you're looking for & they don't have it at that time. They will be able to order it for you with out any problem. I've been going to Slither & Swim Pets for many years & have never been disappointed. I also HIGHLY recommend this place to everyone.

I’ve been shopping at Slither and Swim for almost 20 years. Paul, the owner is great, very professional and helpful. Through the years I’ve gotten many reptiles, aquatic life, feeders and accessories from him. I will continue going for all my needs, even now that I am 20 miles away. Worth it.

Great place with very knowledgeable and helpful staff. I went for some tropical fish , which they have a lot of, and learned a lot while talking with the staff.

I love this place! The fish and animals always look healthy, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Be sure to say "Hi" to Carl the cat.

Great staff, lots of necessities and extras for reptile and fish owners. Always fast and inexpensive, they have the fattest worms and roaches for my lil beardie, who I got from here, too. The only reptile store around, but if there were more I'd still probably choose SnS!

Tight store but very clean for the volume. Some staff members are super knowledgeable and helpful. One gentlemen in specific is the best and the one we just bought our gargoyle gecko from. Very knowledgeable about fish and other reptiles. They have take ins on occasion where surrender happens. They can even pet sit your reptiles for you on vacation!
It isn't the best location (bumpy parking lot) but the inside is like an entire new world. They were even patient explaining things to my 11 year old. I can't tell you enough how we love it. We buy our tiny crickets and frozen fish food here also.
Best store around. No birds or other pets available. House/store cat is friendly.

I love this place. They have for years been the greatest reptile store in and around New haven. I know people that drive over an hour just to come here. Owner is super nice as well ad the staff.

They are knowledgeable and have fantastic prices for food for our snakes.

This is a great pet store. I shop here for my leopard gecko and they have EVERYthing you could possibly need for your amphibians, reptiles, and aquatic creatures! (Possibly more than that, but I have yet to explore & find everything they have to offer) The people there are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable! They have the coolest pets you could adopt as well! My partner and I used to shop at PetCo but Slither & Swim is now our go-to pet store. We drive 15-20 minutes out of town just to shop there when PetCo is about 5 minutes down the road from us. They are also in the process of expanding to a larger store right next door which is awesome! Happy for them!

Love this place, everyone is so friendly! They let you hold the reptiles and know all the facts! Good price on feed ( crickets, roaches, mice, rats). One of my favorite stores and favorite “ pet” reptile store!

Recently purchased a crested gecko from them and the animal looks very healthy and well cared for. It's been a few days since shes been in a new enclosure and shes looking great. The prices on related items were also pretty good as well as the price for the gecko itself. And the man (possibly the owner or manager) who helped me was very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend them!

Everytime I go the staff is always friendly, knowledgeable & helpful. Beautiful exotics, nice selection for tank setups. I love how clean the pet shop is, Best part is, the animals are healthy and lively. Thank you for always providing great service.
