Worked with then Mayor Ben Dileto's office who "gave" us a small office in the parking garage on Elm Street where Judy, the Chisholm brothers, Fred, Severio, some others(sorry, my 70 yr old brain fails me) and I worked the phones to raise money and awareness for the project. To see the "V" go up was awesome and I know, at some future date, the slabs that are still in some quarry in Vermont will also be placed.

Please lobby the City of New Haven to return the annual July 4th fireworks to Long Wharf and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Park! Very picturesque and beautiful!
