Love this place. I think they are the best pizza place in Seymour now a days. Their other food is great too but the pizza is on POINT🙌

Food is better than New Haven Style. I'd give it my own class. New Valley style, let's start the trend.

I wish these guys delivered to Woodbridge since we are just over the line from Seymour but regardless, the pizza is very good here. We ended up picking up our order and everyone loved the food. Staff was a couple younger guys that were quick and friendly. This will be our new go-to place for pizza. If the owner reads this review, please consier delivering to the Peck Hill area in Woodbridge.

These folks make a good pizza, at a fair price. They are consistent when it comes to quality, their staff always seem really enthusiastic, and they don't question odd topping combos. Their storefront isn't the best but it's a pizza joint with an A heath resting.

What can I say? I am addicted to their The Works pizza. Their menu offers toppings I consider weird, but this combination is strictly main stream. I can't tell you just what they do to make it so very, very good, but I rarely order anything else. They don't just pile on a bunch of stuff, this pie has balance; plenty of toppings but nothing overwhelms anything else. My wife loves The Works too, but will occasionally get one of their clam pies for variety. Their basic cheese pizza is fine too, and that is my own alternative, particularly during the hours of their lunch special. I can't say anything about their delivery service as I always pick it up myself. The staff is always friendly.

And man, The Works is just so good!

Four years after I wrote the above, I am living half an hour away. Not often, but sometimes I take the drive to Seymour, because it is Just That Good!

Best tasting delivery in the valley! Large calzones almost fill the entire pizza box. Amazingly fresh and high quality ingredients combined with excellent culinary skills. The calzones, antipasto, pizza and grinder were all amazing! I'll add photos next order... Thanks 1st Street! Don't change a thing!

Seymour is like little New Haven in the sense that there are 6 pizza places within walking distance of my house. With that in mindnn First Street is the best! Great flop while not losing toppings, perfect char on the crust, sauce to cheese ratio is always on point and lastly they are always prompt, kind and consistent.

Love the pizza here! It's a sister shop from Dayton St Pizza. Authentic New Haven style thin crust pizza with very tasty sauce, fresh mozzarella and whatever topping you like. You have to try this place! You won't regret it!

Technically 4.5 stars. I ordered for delivery Today (1/17) one pizza and some wings. Pepperoni was delivered hot and surprisingly not too oily which I can be particular about. I don’t remember having a delivered pizza taste this good. The hot wings were just hot enough to get a bead of sweat on the forehead yet still had flavor. The only reason I put 4.5 was the blue cheese was a store bought packet but I shouldn’t let that ruin my positive experience and subsequent review. I’ll be returning. As far as the one star review from the young woman on the site I don’t understand, I did come into contact with the delivery driver and and he was properly wearing a mask. That is until I asked him to remove it so he could cough in face repeatedly, as is customary in my house. Like I said, I’ll be returning.

Best place to get a pizza fast and fresh. The wings are the best I've had anywhere, tbh. Def a favorite for me and my friends, and in a convenient location in the center of town. Never had a problem, and always serve you a great giant pizza. It's on the thin side, and fairly greasy, but it's all part of the experience 😎

Ordered online for pick up.. This was my First time having First St Apizza and it will not be my last. The service was friendly and efficient. Price was very reasonable for the medium (very large 18" pie) and most importantly the pizza was fresh and hot and cooked to perfection. :-)

Two great delivery experiences from First Street Apizza! Delivery was on time both times and the food is high quality! We ordered the stuffed spinach bread, the Tuscan shrimp pasta, the mac and cheese bites, the meltdown wings, antipasto, and the grilled chicken sandwich! Omg so good!! Need to try!

Amazing pizza. Go for the white broccoli rave with sausage promise you won't regret it. 10 outta 10 would recommend

I have been going here for over a decade. The pizza is awesome!!!!! Meatball and roasted red pepper pie is delicious. They have a good size menu. I have tried a bunch of different items all great. If you haven't tried it yet go you will be glad you did and you will keep going back.

This is our go for delivery! My son loves the teriyaki wings. The grinders are so good, my boyfriend loves their calzones and I enjoy the Gorgonzola salad with grilled chicken. They use coupons which I love (always bargain hunting) and the staff is great! Definitely recommend.

My wife and I are happy 1st Street lies well-timed on the way back from grandma's house to stop for quick lunch. For about ten years we've been eating slices every now and then. We live in New Haven, pizza capital of the Universe, so we're snobs, and 1st Street is more than worthy: thin crust, tangy sauce, artfully cheesed.

3rd time to this place. Pizza is outstanding. Thin crispy crust, good sauce, and nice toppings. My wife had a calzone, it was excellent. Thanks
