Stop & Shop

I've lived in Seymour for 38 years and shopped at Stop&Shop ever since they moved here. I love their selection of foods and their quality never disappoints me. They also have a good amount of housewares and cleaning products to choose from; for me, it's one stop shopping 👍

Fresh fruit. I use my phone to scan everything. At checkout I just pay.

I always go stop & shop in Seymour Connecticut I like the employees I like the place.

Clean store. I witnessed a young gentleman collecting carts stop to help a woman load her car. Don't see that anymore.

This review is in regards to Joann in the Florist Department. Joann did a beautiful job on the centerpieces for my daughters bridal shower. I provided the teapots and Joann did the arrangements. I could not have been happier with the way they came out. I got so many compliments on them and told everyone to go see Joann for their floral needs. The picture below is 9 days after the event and it is still beautiful.

Typical Stop and Shop. The store is clean and organized. Employees are polite and helpful. Order ahead deli, scan it, and grocery pick up are all available at this store. The self checkout was recently updated and they always have plenty of registers with cashiers open. There's a gas station at this location, too. Parking lot is busy but you can find great parking spots. There's a Peoples bank inside and also have drive up ATM in parking lot.

The Stop & Shop in Seymour has been my "go-to" store for the past 14+ years and counting. I love the selection, especially the organic produce, and I've especially come to appreciate the dedicated employees that I get to say hello to weekly/monthly. In particular, there is one employee (Gina) that always takes the time to show me how I can save time and money. She introduced me to the "Scan It!" device, which I would have never tried on my own, and recently she showed me some new ways to find out about sales at the store. I am so grateful for employees like her that take the time to improve the customer experience!

I visited the store on 12-6-20. An employee was super kind and checked out my groceries (that I was carrying in my arms) at the help kiosk near the self checkout. The florist was also very helpful and matched the balloon colors to the ribbon without me asking (a cute touch) and has helped me in the past (when I didn’t know they offered services for free if you buy an arrangement from them). I left very happy to have had received the help I did today!

The staff is always pleasant. The store is always clean and typically well stocked, of course with this pandemic some products are scarce but that's to be expected. I want to thank the essential workers for everything you do.

I have been a Stop&Shop customer since 1973. If I have a problem that does not get handled correctly with staff I go straight to store manager and have the problem corrected immediately. You have only yourself to blame if you do not go to the store manager, be it in person or by telephone. I am a loyal customer and I get treated the way I believe I should. I am happy with the Seymour store. I shop, scan my items bag them and go to thd register to pay. That way everything is as I want it to be. I am never shokec at the end because the scanner keeps a running total. Be sure to use the website to load your card with a vast variety of coupon savings. Then just print it out and shop. Cool, very cool.l

They're fresh (made daily) corn muffins and Kaiser rolls are slammin. And the smell coming from their bakery is heaven. However twice I bought Arizona sweet tea that tasted off. But they gave refunds both times.

Stop and shop curbside pickup went without a hitch, they call while they're shopping for you if there's an item not available & offer alternatives for those items... They also ask if there anything else you want added on.

They then txt you to tell you it'll be ready for the time you choose to pickup.

When you arrive, park in one of the "Pickup Only" spaces and call the # on the sign. Tell them you're there to pickup & your last name. They came out in about 3 minutes, loaded up the car and that's it! Only costs $2.99 saved me over 2 hrs... Thank you everyone @ S&S Seymour!

I grocery shop a ridiculous amount for my job and personal. This my all time favorite s&s. Their organic selection is killer. Also it's rarely incredibly busy except on expected holidays, Sundays & the day before a blizzard.

Friendly workers and great layout to store. Everyone is courteous and helpful.

I live many towns away from this particular $&$, & I have 2 $&$s in my own town; but folks (staff & community) have grown on me as possibly unseating my fav local $&$. Reliable, usually have what I'm looking for on my way home (when local fav runs out) 👍👍

Respectful and helpful but have some people who are there just to make ppl miserable I've seen them let a elderly couple get bullied and groceries taken I've got their stuff back and stop and shop didn't back me up when the cops came I'm Puerto Rican they are white and u know who lost that debate me but I will always defend one who gets bullied that's that

Has everything I need. Clean and very nice and helpful employees. I go all the time. Convenient location and had stop and shop gas station right there.
