Have had several fantastic finds here. There are often sales and I love the date system that has been implemented that reduces the price of items over time.

The store itself is attractive and easy to shop. Prices are very reasonable and the ladies who work there (may be owners) are FABULOUS to deal with. Check out the vintage pieces. Small but we'll curated collection. The designer collection is very small but I found a gem. The belts were the best I've found thrifting. For every 100 you spend you get either 20% off next purchase or 20 dollars. Can't remember which. Ask about it if you go.

I've been shopping at CO since they were in their Fairfield location three decades ago and at the Orange store for probably 20 years; malls are such a drag. Shopping at CO is always an adventure I enjoy; I've had the pleasure of many unexpected great finds. Things there are a bit pricier these days, but I usually walk out relishing the new additions to my wardrobe, appreciating the uniqueness and quality of my finds and the money I've saved. So glad they're still offering this fun, alternative shopping opportunity after so many years. Kudos to the owners and staff.

The prices used to be reasonable but now too high. They say that there price is 1/3 of the department store manufacturers price, not the sale price. It's not the truth. I found items that were too high. By the way it's in this store. If you shop in the rocky hill store you will find better prices and customer service.

I absolutely love this store clean and extremely organized they sale top end clothing the STAFF is extremely polite and friendly i never leave empty handed there is always something that catches my eye i won't go any were eles

Every visit has a new discovery. I truly love the wall art and furniture.
Also, you can make money by consignlng your new and gently used clothing, handbags, furniture, shoes, and jewelry. As of 2/2020, Spring items are being accepted for consignment.

Stopped into the friends and family really quick before I had to go to work was disappointed because they didn’t have better refreshments but the staff was very delightful ! they have a great selection for great prices i’ll keep coming back for the prices and stuff !

I've been a buyer at Consignment Originals in Orange for years but only started consigning recently.

Overall, I really like this place. As a buyer it's great that the merchandise changes frequently and you can get a fantastic deal. I especially enjoy shopping the half-off racks where you can get great labels for only a few dollars. My biggest complaint as a buyer is that they don't take returns. I understand that the items are on consignment and a return can certainly complicate the payout to a seller, but there are many times I've walked away from a purchase (usually something for my daughter...Will it fit? Will she like it?) because of this policy.

It's more complicated as a seller. I really like the ease of getting rid of unused items and making a few bucks for my effort. But emphasis on a few bucks. I get it...this is a for-profit business that has overhead. But as a consigner you need to go in with low expectations. There's no getting rich when your items sell. You make a fraction of what they're really worth. Use it to clean out your house, not to make money. And then there's the complication of reclaiming your unsold items. You personally need to locate your things from the many racks to take them out of inventory. It's not as easy as it sounds and I've 'donated' quite a few things unexpectedly because I was unable to find them. Are they floating in the store in the wrong location? Did they sell and I not get credit? Were they shoplifted?

Even with the flaws, I still give this business five stars. Honestly, I don't know how I could make it run any better myself.

Well, there is one thing. I would hire more people like Jess. She always goes out of her way to help and is really enjoyable to talk to. The consigning area is crowded and busy and requires a patient person to staff it. Jess is absolutely perfect for the job, which I frankly can't say about the other female that works behind that counter. There have been times I've left feeling a bit annoyed at the abrupt and coarse behavior of that employee.... Consignment Originals, you need more people like Jess! She represents your business well.

Hi I'm writing this because i want to know if you guys take prom dresses? im really trying to get rid of mine i wore it for 4 hours for 1 night and i just know im never going to wear it again. i can't find any places that buys prom dresses.

I have bought & consigned with Consignment Originals for many, many years & think they are one of the best consignment shops around. I have done very well consigning with them. It is a very busy store so you have a better chance of selling your items & I love shopping there because they always have great quality items for sale.

Love this place…they have the clothes very well classified and in excellent condition.

Great prices, awesome clothes and accessories why shop full price when you can get a serious discount on items such as coach, versa, banana republic just to name a few
