The Meat King by C-Town

Love it for the diverse food items! I find a lint of stores to have limited options in New Haven but this place has many Met types and veggies as well. It is clean and easy to navigate.

The staff are very courteous and the butcher will cut up your meat , very kind. Clean place, yet needs more Caribbean products. They didn't have green bananas for cooking and no real Jamaican fresh hot peppers. They should begin selling red stripe flavored beer like NYC

This place is definitely worth the drive huge selection of meats, great prices and they have all the stuff the other places don’t have do you want to make oxtail soup well they have oxtail lots of it. Do you want to make something with goat because they have plenty of goat, plenty of lamb, you can pick up a pig head, I recommend this place for all your taco making needs and other stuff as well

Excellent fresh produce department, deli and anything else you might need, especially Latino products. Good prices.

Really nice store could be better if the police remove the drug dealers who stands across the street every day claiming to catch the bus when it passes I work in the area I see the people selling drugs this type of thing cause people not to want stop by The Meat King by C-Town what a shame this is a store serving the community but what can they do when the police are not doing anything about it.

The store was very clean I was surprisingly shocked at how great it looked because it never was a very clean store but aside from the meats all the other groceries are definitely priced a little higher than they should be

Love that it still has the feel of old store!! Prices are low and items are still ones you can only find there i.e. Bell's seasoning!!

Ferraro's is the greatest! You Can't Beat Their Meat! Ha ha. Everything is excellent quality and excellent price.

What a fun market. Visited during the holidays. Heard the butchers yelling out "I got roasts, steaks" The fish department was amazing. Meat department had incredible deals. Can't wait to go back. Crowded but I didn't mind one bit.
UPDATE: the location is now called meat king by C-Town but the review was for Ferraro’s that moved out and is in North Haven who I visited and does not compare to when they were in this location

This Latin grocery store is nice and clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and they had everything I needed!

Inside of the store very very beautiful nice neat clean I really do any shopping but what I saw ain't much prices looks good

My wife and I absolutely adore this shop. We got a piece of mail from them with all of their specials a few months ago and we have not been able to stop going there for our steaks, fresh produce, and cheeses. The best part about this store is the steak counter; the gentlemen behind the counter always have specials and deals and our meat purchases have always been delicious, juicy, and tender. Highly recommend to anyone in the greater New Haven area!!!
