Lovely salon. Tatjana is an expert colorist. Did a fantastic job understanding what would be best color approach for me and my graying hair after a single consultation. Understood my haircut and worked with me to try and achieve the look I wanted. Excellent first cut. I've been loyal to my previous hairdresser for 30 years in NJ but really wanted to find a local hairstylist I could trust and fall in love with. It was a hard act to follow, but Tatjana delivered!!

I’ve going to Tatjana for over 6 years now. She’s a hidden gem. Salon is intimate and you get her full attention. I initially found her because my color was off and I saw she was a “color correction expert.” She definitely knows what she’s doing and my color has been perfect ever since. Also does amazing cuts and blowouts. I have tons of thick hard to handle hair, and she spends the extra time on it and it always looks perfect when I leave. My college aged daughter has also been going to her for the past 4 years, and loves her as well. I highly recommend her.

Was very nervous to cut my very long hair to shoulder length, but I was taken care of here. I instantly felt that Tatjana understood my hair goals, and she confirmed that by executing perfectly. I also felt like I was talking with a friend the whole time. Professionalism: 10, atmosphere: 10

Tatjana is an amazing person, she's insanely talented, she's kind, open minded, easy to talk to, fun to be with. I like her salon, it's cute , comfortable and quiet. I love how it's usually just me and her during my appointment. Her Davines products are excellent. She understands my fine hair and has given me the best cuts and color I've ever had. She teaches me something every time I go. I'd never go somewhere else.

God can't be everywhere. That's why he gave us Tatjana. She is the ONLY qualified hair stylist in the greater New Haven area. Her constant focus on continuing education is what gives her the expertise to assess scalp and hair conditions, to determine treatments for damaged hair and select appropriate products. No one can hold a candle to her knowledge of hair product ingredients.
After my 40+ years of hair tragedies, Tatjana has been the ONLY one able to use her knowledge and holistic approach to teach me and to resolve the thinning hair and hair loss I've experienced due to surgeries, medications and post menopausal factors. Tatjana always goes the extra mile to meet her client's needs...including scheduling flexibility, home visits, honest advice and even teaching my husband to style my hair for the months following my shoulder surgery!

Approximately a year ago I had highlights put into my hair for a special occasion by my former hairdresser of many years. She totally fried off my hair. When I would brush or shampoo my hair clumps of my hair would fall out in my hands. They were the size of a quarter and would break up to a ½ inch of my scalp. I would cry and feared I was going to be bald.
A friend (who is also a hairdresser as well) recommended Tatjana to me and said she was a colorist corrector specialist and a miracle worker. When I arrived at the salon I let out a big sigh and knew I was in competent hands. Tatjana not only used special conditioning treatment to stop additional breakage she was able to match the base color of my brown hair to enable the regrowth not to be noticeable. She eliminated my new hair growth skunk stripe! It has been approximately 6 months that I have been going to Tatjana and we have new hair to shape into flattering styles that suit my face shape and personality.

Tatjana is the best! I love the haircuts I've gotten from her. She knows her craft and what works best for different hair types. The salon's atmosphere is fun and welcoming, and I appreciate all of the covid precautions that are in place which made my visit feel very safe. Not only does she provide a wonderful haircut but she is happy to give advice and teach her clients how to do the everyday styling themselves. My hair has never looked better and I always feel amazing when I leave her shop!

Absolutely loved my first haircut with Tatjana! She listened very closely to what I wanted, but I also trusted her judgment with what would look good with my face shape. She was very informative and a fantastic teacher to show me how to take care of and do my hair after I left her salon. I really appreciated the teaching moments because most hairdressers do not tell you how to do much with you hair type. She did a fantastic job and I will defiantly be back!

Let me start out by saying that if it were possible to give Tatjana 10 stars I would. Tatjana is truly a professional who put all her attention into the client sitting in her chair. She takes the time to learn your lifestyle and preferences in order to make sure what you are requesting or what she is doing is truly right for you. She also wants to make sure what she is doing to your hair is correct for your hair type. She is constantly taking courses and is an educator for Davines, the color line she uses. She wants to make sure you feel like a million bucks when you walk out her door, and every time I leave, I do. Every time I leave my hair feels healthy, soft and the color is perfect. She is the only person who I will let cut and color my hair.

Tatjana is a hair wizard!!! She is absolutely amazing at both cut and color, and so so lovely and friendly to chat with to boot. She takes COVID precautions very seriously and I felt very safe getting my hair cut with her for the first time since quarantine began. You cannot go wrong with a haircut from Tatjana!!!

Tatjana loves what she does, and is just as focused on making your hair healthy as she is making your hair look good. The salon itself is clean and cozy and the products are all high-quality. I’ve had my hair done all over the country, and Tatjana is one of the best colorists I’ve experienced.

Recently I have been having problems with my hair becoming a little thinner. Tatyana knows just how to cut it short and pixieish to minimize this problem. She always makes me feel confident and stylish. She also has great recommendations for products that help with this dilemma. I wouldn't have anyone else cut my hair. Tatjana always consistently trims my short hair perfectly. It's not easy to cut very short hair and still look feminine. I love my hair ! Thank you again Tatjana for being the best stylist I ever encountered ❣

I have been going to Tatjana for years now. Finding a good hair dresser is hard and I'm so glad I found Tat! Being someone who is constantly changing the color of her hair, it's important to have someone who is knowledgeable. Tatjana always gives me realistic expectations and has never failed to deliver! The salon is cozy and you really get that one on one experience.

The salon space was beautiful and unique, the customer service was impeccable, and I absolutely love my new hair cut! It's clear that Tatjana puts care and consideration into her work, including the ethics and sustainability of the product brands carried in the salon. I came to Tatjana in July of 2018 wanting to be blonde. Problem was, I had 20 years of red, brown and even black box dye on my hair. Any stylist could’ve said OK and bleached my whole head.
Tatjana was honest with me about the process and told me what she could do now without completely damaging my hair. We talked about color tones and what would work with my skin and what would look the most natural. She listened to my concerns about maintenance and cost and was upfront and honest about all of it. I was never surprised by my tab at the end of a session And my hair always grew out so natural that I could go 9 months between color appointments and never looked it. And to top it all off My hair is healthier now than it’s ever been! I’ll be a customer for life and I can’t wait for my next appointment! Im so thankful the only reminder I have of my box dye days are the stains in my bathroom LOL
