East Side Pizza Palace

I have been coming to East side pizza since I moved to that side of town in 1995. The best pizza in town.... Possibly the state. I have since moved to the West side of town, but still remain a loyal weekly customer. I pass by numerous other pizza joints to happily go to my favorite pizza place. They serve a Greek style pan pizza. I love just their plain cheese pizza, but I am older and usually red pizzas no longer sits well with me. I normally get a white pizza with eggplant, bacon and ricotta.(my absolute favorite) Or white with meatball and onion. The brothers that own the place are very sweet and always take good care of my order. They are teaching the next generation and I am hoping I will be able to continue getting great food for the next 30 years.

Looking for real Greek pizza for a while. The cheese pizza cut in squares just does it for me. They didn’t cut them in squares this time but I will be sure to ask as I thought they always did it! Fries are on point too, looking forward to trying the salads and some pizza with topping. However plain cheese pizza Greek style just so good.

We have ordered several times and the food is always delicious. Highly recommend the pizza and the subs, we've not gotten apps or dinners yet. The staff that answer the phone are super nice and ask all the right questions to get the order how you want it. My son is very picky with his food and he loves when we order from here.

I have been eating here for as long as I can remember. It is a great pizza joint and the atmosphere is as good as it gets. The owners are great guys who take care of there customers and make some really great food.

A staple of east Wallingford, the East Side Pizza Palace serves up delicious Greek-style pies alongside the usual neighborhood pizza shop fare like grinders and salads. Know that your pie will be saucy with a deep dish-adjacent crust, and you'll love it. Decidedly *not* New Haven style, but amazing in its own right. Large pies are cut into squares, not the usual slices. Run by the same family since the 70s, it is our go-to for pizza and subs. Buffalo chicken pizza is my fav here...but lately I've had a bacon pie or two and they've been dee-lish!

I’ve been eating this pizza since I was 13 years old. It hasn’t changed a bit, it is amazing.

Great pizza, friendly staff and reasonable priced food. Yeah the place needs some updating but if it had an arcade game in the corner it would feel like every pizza place from the 80s/90s. And that kinda makes me feel nostalgic. Definitely going back.

The best Greek-family-style pizza I've had in New Haven County. Friendly competent staff! While clean and nostalgic, their dining area had no air conditioning and was about 10 degrees hotter than the July heat outside.

So happy to know they now offer catering! I'm visiting home for a few weeks and needed a meal for a family gathering. Ordered the half lasagna, house salad, and loaf of Italian bread. Was a huge hit and we are now planning a small family night at the restaurant. The owners and staff are kind and very accommodating to some minor adjustments I needed to make to the order. Having recently moved from CT to TX, it was so nice to have some authentic Greek/Italian cuisine!!

Have been going here since I was a kid. We took the family here a few weeks ago. It’s still the same, excellent pizza for a fair price. Staff is very polite as well. We strayed away for one trip and we’re charged $30 for one pizza at an establishment downtown and when we reviewed them fairly we were trashed by them on a Google review. When it comes to pizza stay true to your first choice. East Side is the best!

Love Love Love this pizza. Italian pizza is good but I have to have my Greek pizza! It reminds me of when I was a kid. My parents would order Greek pizza every Friday night in Plainville. So glad I found this place where I live now in Wallingford. Thank you East Side Pizza for always being consistent with great tasting pizza!

I love East Side Pizza. The owners are amazing, friendly, and hard-working, great guys. The food is always spot-on perfect. Everything is made fresh, and to order.

My favorite pizza place and travel 20ish minutes is well worth the trip! Leftovers heat up like it’s fresh out the oven. You won’t be disappointed!

I have been going here since I was 3 it's great pizza the brothers who own it took over from their parents. Great food at a great price. The pizza is the best in wallingford by far...also the have great subs and all kinds of dinners......try it out you will not be let down

Tried East Side for the first time yesterday. I’m originally from Chicago and have been massively disappointed in the pizza here in New Haven. East Side is an excellent alternative to the burnt crust junk they serve down there. Great sauce, abundant toppings. Would recommend to all!

Very, very good food! My BF gets a nice sized pizza with toppings and I get a big salad, both adding up to a decent price for our meals. We're both satisfied with our food and the amount spent spent for it is definitely less than compared to other pizza places. East Side Pizza Palace is a very authentic Italian restaurant. I'm Italian myself, so i appreciate the realism of the Italian experience and atmosphere there. Molto Bene!

This is the first time I have had pizza from East Center Pizza, and I am so pleased! I ordered a large veggie pizza and I can’t believe how amazing each bite was! It was made with so many fresh veggies, and the pizza sauce was delicious. The large pizza will feed so many people, definitely less expensive then most places in town.
I will absolutely be ordering from here again.

Ordered 4 hot ham and cheese grinders, perfectly made, fresh, hot and worth the money.. Filled with ham and all the toppings my family and I wanted. Not to mention the best pizza in town
