East Center Market

I love this store! Me and my son are always greeted with smiles and helpful hands! There’s a small coffee/hot chocolate/tea station where you can prepare coffee for self and get hot cocoa. I brought bread at this location which expired 3 days after I brought it and the manager had no issues with allowing me to get something else! THE SANDWICHES are AMAZINGLY fresh! And if you happen to shop around while your sandwich is being made the person at the deli will find you or have it ready at the cashier which is helpful when you’re a mama bear grabbing things and trying not to forget thing

This market is a local watering hole and is always really amazing when it comes to customer service. Whenever you order a deli sandwich they always pack it full to the brim. You can always find those unusual items that are not available at some of the other chain stores.

Great store prices high but quality great good thing I can afford anything

As always, it is the best place to shop for groceries. I won't buy my chicken or beef elsewhere, top quality. They keep the butcher shop and deli incredibly clean. They have the best staff, always friendly, courteous, helpful and will talk to a customer other than to ask what their order is. A nice, friendly neighborhood store where you would rather spend your money than at the big stores.

East Center Market is a necessity for the east side of Wallingford. It provides all the basics plus a fabulous meat and deli counter. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

This is a gem in an oasis of mediocrity, unhealthy food and poor to no customer service. In fact most grocery stores don’t have a desire to interact with people at all. Here is quite the opposite and is a very refreshing change. I would shop nowhere else . Establishments like this should be supported. Thank you

I highly recommend this market. The meat/deli dept is beyond compare to any other market around. Pricing is very competitive and the quality can't be found in the larger supermarkets. The store made items I've tried have been excellent. The meatballs are the bomb!

Nice welcoming corner market that really exudes that New England feel. They have a great selection of different items from pastas, rice, produce, snacks, drinks and more. What really stands out about this store though, is their deli/meat department. Their meats are fantastic and really high quality. Staff are friendly and the store is clean and organized. They're a little more expensive than a standard grocery store, but that's to be expected with a smaller shop like this. It's worth it. Highly recommend coming here.

This is the perfect market to go to for errands or to pick something up. Everyone's so nice and it definitely has that community feel of a good market!

My go to store for last minute items and when I don't want to deal with the supermarket. They do their best to keep items in stock and items are always fresh. The meat department is superb. In my opinion they have the best burgers around. The employees are always pleasant and helpful. The parking is the only drawback but you get used to it. All in all you can't beat this place.

If you are looking for quality meat this is your place to go. They make great sandwiches to go. Clean and the employees are friendly and helpful.

Everyone that works there is very helpful and a pleasure to meet. They have very tasty premade single serve prepackaged dishes as well as items priced by the pound. Prices may be a bit higher but well worth the welcoming feel and stress free atmosphere.

Used their home delivery service today and it was great, being home bound right now from surgery it fits with my schedule
Have shopped at Eastside Market since 1971 when I moved to Wallingford and will continue to do so. Can’t wait yo see the remodel

I prefer to shop in a local IGA rather than a chain. I have limited energy and the smaller footprint fits my abilities. The fresh produce is not great, but I use a farmers market in season for excellent locally grown veg. They bag my groceries as I like them packed. And always offer to load my car for me, refusing the tips I offer. I can't think of a thing I would change, if I could.

Is a great Market on the east side and the outskirts of town. It is very convenient and they have almost everything that you need. They have a very good meat counter and Deli. They have a good selection of fresh vegetables. They have all sorts of bread and of course milk grocery stores a little bit higher unless you get something on sale but it is quite convenient to the people who live on the east side. They support Wallingford and Master's Manna food pantry as well as other local causes. If you ever have the problem with something that you buy there they will take it back no questions asked! The staff is friendly professional and always ready to serve. They close at 8 p.m. so it's convenient to go there on the way home from work if you don't want to go to one of the big grocery stores. Thankful they are still in business and like going there even if the prices are a bit higher so they can thrive in business and remain there for the long-term. Happy shopping!

Great folks who seem to have those few things you need at the last minute. A few items may cost more than the big chains but who cares? Deli/meat counter is the best and their store-made items are awesome. Get a made-to-order deli sandwich and thank me later!

Great place I placed order ahead but had to wait but that’s ok very busy I was waved the curb pick up fee and given a gift for waiting! Great place fresh meat and very friendly staff! I will always shop my fresh meats there! Thank you
