Dozo Asian Bistro & Sushi

SO GOOD! THIS PLACE NEEDS MORE HYPE!! I don't usually leave reviews, but I knew i had to after I came here. Service was amazing, food came very quickly, and it was all delicious!! Was not expensive either. Green tea ice cream, pork gyoza, and pad thai are a MUST TRY!! For those who have allergies, the waitress made sure to inform me that my pad thai had peanuts before I ordered it. Super considerate- definitely recommend.

i loved this place! the interior was really pretty and the service was super quick as well, at least when i went. the food there was so so so delicious. don't regret stopping here at all. prices are also really fair and overall cheap for most people. nice atmosphere and staff.

Six of us met for lunch on a Saturday. The place has been through several owners. The decor is beautiful with flowers and classic teapots on display. We were promptly seated. Server came right over with menus. Drink orders were quickly taken and served. There were several servers helping us. Two of us got the special “Initial Roll” plus avocado salad. My wife ordered the pineapple fried rice. Others had sushi and tempura. All was delicious. We will definitely come back again.

It's such a cute spot. I always pass it all the time on my way to work and had to try it. The service was very friendly. The food had various layers of flavor and texture, and my husband was practically drooling over his chicken katsu. Everything tasted particularly fresh as well. A great place for lunch.

Cant say enough good things about Dozo. Gteat atmosphere, excellent service, food made fresh you can see it being prepaire. Very clean .

Very decent option if you are traveling on route 15. The surrounding environment is a bit scary but the restaurant is clean and well appointed. The service is warm and food is delicious. One of better authentic experiences in the area.

Stopped here for lunch and received friendly and fast service. No complaints about the food or this restaurant.

I really enjoy eating at Dozo! It's my favorite sushi spot. They used to deliver (but not anymore)so I don't get it as much as I used to. but I stopped there today for a "to go" order after getting my hair done at Soho down the street. So delicious,very fresh and everyone is very friendly 😄 total enjoyment... very satisfying 😊

Went for lunch with my girlfriend she LOVED the place, sushi and soup was amazing! No joke, this is an amazing place I'm glad I didn't just drive past it. Super amazing decor inside. Gives an amazing atmosphere. Kinda made me feel like I was back in the 90s but in a very very good way if you get what I mean. Planning on driving all the way from Danbury again next weekend.

Had a great experience! Ordered 7 rolls and they were made with fresh ingredients and tasted great. The service was very quick and friendly. Would highly recommend this place. Possibly the best quality sushi in town!

This place is AMAZING! The food was more than phenomenal, the staff was exceptionally attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting! If I could leave more stars, I would still leave the maximum! I was greeted by smiles instantly, was more than impressed by foods I had never tried before but will definitely eat over and over again, and my $1 warm green tea was never less than half full! Do yourself a favor and try this place at least once. You will be glad you did!

I’ve been here a few times and the food is amazing and a good price point considering the high quality. The miso soup and chicken teriyaki is fantastic, as well as the tempura shrimp and veg. The service is amazing, all the hostesses and waitresses have always been attentive. It is also quiet and plays relaxing music, which for someone who dislikes loud restaurants, is a nice change of pace from most places! Would highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I stopped here during a 5 hour road trip and were so glad we did! The food was phenomenal, the decor was lovely, and the staff was SO friendly and welcoming. We were helped by several different waitresses throughout the course of our meal - drinks were never empty and we were checked on just enough that it was pleasant but not annoying. Food came out quickly but not rushed. We were very happy with everything. It's too bad we don't live in the area because we would definitely come back someday if we get the chance!

This place has great food. The atmosphere is really nice too. I got the chicken katsu, and my wife got sushi. I will say, the chicken katsu here was the best chicken katsu I've ever had.

All I can say is WOW! This place was way better than we expected. The location (in a strip mall next to a busy intersection) did not give us great expectations, but we were more than pleasantly surprised. We were greeted immediately upon walking in the door and served with hot towels. The waitress took our drink order and brought it over swiftly. We had the unfiltered cold sake, and it was delicious. We started off with green salads with ginger dressing, and they were very tasty. Then we had the most heavenly gyoza, which were the best I’ve ever had. We followed up with chicken & vegetable tempura and drunken noodles. Both were incredibly good. We topped off the evening with tempura ice cream (we chose vanilla) and our minds were blown. We will definitely come back to try other dishes, but the dishes we had will linger in our minds long after tonight. Highly recommended!
