Really cool place. The food here was delicious. I enjoyed the the kitchen sink special. The staff here were very friendly and professional. The interior is very cozy with local news articles along with walls. Parking is plentiful with the free street parking spots. I really enjoyed the coffee so much I almost walked out with the coffee mug. Can't wait to go back soon!

We loved this off the beaten path breakfast place. It is comfortable and inviting. Very friendly. The food is alot like going to your grandmother's house for breakfast. If your grandma was a really good cook. Lol. The pancakes are fluffy and cooked well. The bacon and sausage not spicy and cooked to perfection. The homefries are fantastic. Home cut, not frozen potatoes spiced with paprika. I got scrambled eggs which are not greasy but light and fluffy. But even though it was among one of the best breakfasts I have had the star of the show was the state flower french toast. Absolutely AMAZING! It is bannana bread that has pinapple and oranges in it. They present this with just a dusting of powdered sugar and a side of whipped butter. It did not need syrup nor the butter. It was perfect. Street parking but there seems to be a small lot a house down. Not sure if you can park there so get there early to secure a place on the street. They are also only opened for breakfast and lunch. Great job Buford's!😁

It's a small mom an pop shop. Service an every thing is really good. I well go again when I'm in the area. The food was like come home to eat. Not like a restaurant. They have been in that place good many years so go see them you will not regret it.

A quaint storefront local diner with awesome homemade food. I had the blueberry bread French toast. It was scrumptious. The bacon 🥓 is to die for! My partner had an egg, home fries and toast and was not disappointed.

Old school diner with lots of charm. This place is a gem. Generous portion sizes, delicious food, and the service is amazing. The perfect place to get mouth-watering blueberry pancakes that are bigger than the state of Connecticut. The coffee was fresh & hot and the refills kept on coming. All of this was served with a side of sass and witty banter from behind the counter. I wish I lived closer - I would become a regular - both for the food and atmosphere.

Always delicious, sometimes my eyes are bigger than my stomach and I think I can handle a side of pancakes, but I can't but they are so good I want to eat them anyway and end up stuffing myself and now breakfast lasts through lunch and I'm not hungry till dinner. All for a price that feels like I'm eating at a restaurant five to ten years ago in this economy. Best breakfast in the area bar none.

It's an old school breakfast diner place. Solid food at great prices. I hope it never changes. Places like this are becoming harder and harder to find. If you want a quick great bite for lunch or breakfast, go there!

Great for the whole family. The staff is always super friendly. This is one of those places where they remember you when you come back and treat you like family.
I recommend this to everyone especially if you are at the shipyard and want a quick breakfast or lunch close by.
The homemade cakes are some of the best I have ever had.

Took my 1 yr old and 8 yr old! Everyone including patrons were super nice. The food was good not great but the atmosphere made it amazing!! Everyone knew the waitress (my guess is she is the owner!) and she was very sweet. I will definitely be going back!

I love this place. They are so good to me and my family. The staff is the real reason I keep coming back. And the food is VERY GOOD! But if you want a diner that give you the warm small town feel while feeding you like grandma would. This is the place!

Great little breakfast spot. Sat down at the counter ordered my food, French toast and fried eggs, and within minutes it was placed in front of me. The wait staff are friendly and diligent and provided excellent service. I will definitely be going back soon.

I'm on a quest for an amazing bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. I've had hundreds and have to say that Buford's may be the best one yet. Also i loved the old school diner atmosphere in a hard working blue collar neighborhood. Places like this don't really exist anymore. I hope Buford's stays around forever.

Friendly staff especially Margaret and daisy, always plenty of food at a good price. Weekend specials, the biscuits and sausage gravy is the best when she has it. The French toast is one of my all time favorites.
