Herb's Country Store

Such a wonderful place, the fruit and vegetables are very fresh so tasty! Jeff (I believe his name is) was extremely kind and very helpful, let us try some cheese and strawberries, my s/o tried a bunch of hot sauces he said were delicious and they gave my daughter a chocolate covered strawberry which made her so happy, she will remember this place and how nice everyone is. There is an absolute huge variety of everything, this is definitely the best country store around. Very welcoming people and environment. Thank you guys again so very! I'd give 10 stars if I could. And the flowers and plants are so healthy and smell amazing you can definitely tell they take good care of customers and the store!

Love, love, love this place! I stumbled upon it last weekend and will now be a regular. The gentleman there was super nice and it's almost it's own little oasis to escape the (omitting choice words) modern world ;)

Went to Foxwoods and afterward we were very hungry. Found this one place that looks good and turned out to be a family run restaurant/breakfast place of food was freshly made and all their items for sale were either made by them or by local farmers. The hot sauces are unbelievable they have a choice of at least five in the restaurant.

I competed in Mohegan Sunfest this weekend and wanted to find a local place to come check out. I came across Herb's Country Store and after looking through a few pictures knew I had to check it out. Upon walking in the staff is unbelievably friendly, and the selection is more than I prepared for. Although I'm indecisive, Jeffrey let me taste a variety of some amazing hot sauces, cheese, and strawberries. They go above and beyond to give you an experience you'll remember, even offering my daughter a chocolate covered strawberry which made her day, maybe even week! The strawberries are the most fresh and juicy I've ever had. Make sure to try their Dill Pickle sauce!! Thanks for such an amazing experience everyone at Herbs! I can't wait to come back.

Amazing little store. Tons of local products, fresh produce and a fantastic meat freezer. Don't forget to grab a few pounds of the best bacon.

I visited a few weeks ago, and I am so very glad I did! You really need to go! This family treats YOU like family! Never mind that there are so many fresh fruits and vegetables, jams, pies, homemade soaps, and so much more...Tell your friends and neighbors and make it a safe group visit! Yes, they are social distancing! Owner Jeff wanted to take a photo quickly without his mask. Thank you for your hospitality, and your amazing produce, and history of your establishment! You also should visit the family deli next store! Yum!

Such a nice store to shop at with very reasonable prices. The employees were very friendly and went above and beyond when purchasing some meats and cheese. We were heading to a winery for the day so they cut everything up for us and gave us plates and napkins with forks and spoons without even asking to do this. We definitely will be stopping back again on our next trip to Mohegan Sun.

After 10 years of living in town I am just as thrilled to walk in the doors of the country store AND Herb's restaurant as I was the first day. I stopped in for my raw milk today and felt compelled to share with the interwebs just how grateful I am to have access to such quality service, local nutritious foods, products and most of all friendship. This family is the real deal and their nature is reflected in their business and many years long reputation here in Uncasville. They work hard to provide the absolute best to everyone who walks through their doors!

We left Mohegan Sun looking for a local spot for breakfast and this place didn't disappoint. Great food and super friendly staff. The best part was we got to sit next to Herb the 90 year old owner who was a delight to talk to. We will definitely be back!

What a lovely brunch experience at Herb's! Myself and 4 friends went on Saturday and loved it so much that we had to go back on Sunday! The food was great and that staff was beyond excellent! If you're in the area, stop by - you won't be disappointed.
